• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

F3-S Windshield... Any aftermarket that are made to fit the stock mounts?

Looking for a shield as the Blue Ridge isn't going to cut it for me at 6'2". I'm wondering if there are any aftermarket shields made that fit the BRP Blue Ridge Shield hardware?

    2017 F3-S Blue paint code???

FYI... BRP released all the 2017 paint codes.... EXCEPT the paint code for the Oxford Blue. We opened a support ticket hoping they'll let us know.

BRP Cares, please comment on the new line up.

My F3-s is lighter at 640 dry. My GS was 697 dry. I can tell you right now, the F3 is faster 0-60.

    rain gear

I've had ok luck with Frogg Toggs but replace them every couple of years as they get beat up and start leaking through.... You have to have them on just right, and you have to remember that wind will push water into every possible opening. Last year I upgraded the Frogg Togg pants to bib pants...

    WackyDan Finally retired the 08 GS for a 2017 F3-S SM6 Blue

Turns 6 in October. Starts Kindergarten this Thursday! She is doing awesome with only some digestive issues which she'll out grow.

    F3T or F3S

I specifically went with the F3-S as the T does cost more and the side bags are too small... Not a big deal as I do love the way the T looks. ***However, I like the look of the F3-S tubular frame and I get to choose what side bags to put on it... I think it gives me a lot more flexibility. You...

    2017 F3-S Blue paint code???

I've asked the dealer and they said they will see if they can find out. Anyone know? I need to get my side cases color matched.

FYI Loose "A" arm bolts. Make sure you check them.

Some have had the bushings wear out... Keep an eye on it as it may only have appeared to be from the bolt being loose.

    WackyDan Finally retired the 08 GS for a 2017 F3-S SM6 Blue

It's all good. I know for a fact a GS/RS properly equipped and ridden can hang with and out run an F3 in the twisties. It comes down to rider in the twisties and that is the real benchmark.

    WackyDan Finally retired the 08 GS for a 2017 F3-S SM6 Blue

Yes? Look... I love my GS. Part of the family after all these years. I have her dialed in.. Intake, fuel controller, sway bar, elkas front and rear. Re-92's up front and Toyo Proxes in the rear... and more. *But. The 08 GS has always been a finicky machine and the last few years even more so...

    WackyDan Finally retired the 08 GS for a 2017 F3-S SM6 Blue

I waited...And I waited. Year after year. Model announcement after model announcement. Always saw something I liked, but just kept holding back. F3 came out and I loved it... Still waited to see what the after market would do for it. Then I put some expensive repairs into the GS in 2015 so I...

    F3 1330 oil - WackyDan is back!!!!

Oh... I never left. I just wasn't as active here due to life in general. Now that I'm getting a new Spyder I'll be asking a lot of questions and contributing knowledge as I build it. So I will hold onto my Amsoil 10w-40 for the new Spyder instead of letting it go with the GS. :)

    F3 1330 oil - WackyDan is back!!!!

Hey gang. No... This is not another dreaded oil debate thread. Let me explain. I've had my 2008 GS now for over several years. She has always been a finicky beast, but I've enjoyed every mile. Now comes the time to put her up for sale and purchase an F3-S. I've run Amsoil 10w-40 Synth in my...

    Coolant Reservoir

Plan on the cap too. There was a post here that a bad cap contributed to the problem for at least one owner. My tank on my 08 is still kicking... but due to that I carry a spare tank and cap... and the rub there is the tank is the old design before they updated it.

    Anyone try this tire yet???

Bridgestone RE-92's on front... Best ones I've found. The legendary Toyo Proxes on the rear (Discontinued). Maxxis makes probably the best trailer ST tires on the market today. Canadian company. Their tires are made in Thailand now versus Canada. Still good tire/brand though.

License plate light lens bolt - 2009 GS

Having silicone on the new screw won't save it. It will keep it on another few thousand miles.... Mine is still somewhere up on the blue ridge parkway. This is what I replaced it with...

2016 Spyder Line up announcement at sturgis?

Location, size of audience. Makes for a nice venue/platform to get as many new faces paying attention to your product launch as possible. Personally? The only thing I expect to see is 2016 colors and some options. I don't expect a new model announcement or anything to do with engines, etc. I...
