• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

On way to Valcourt with sick spyder. BRP Techs available at the Homecoming?

2017 F3-s with apparent. VSS faults. Nanny is kicking in early and hard. Almost unlivable in the turns and I'm not even pushing her hard like some of you know I do. Tried putting it in sport mode but it won't go into the mode so there must be a VSS fault. No codes stored showing on the screen...

    F3 rear tire

The Kenda BRP uses for the SPyder is specifically built for the spyder. In other words, that tire didn't exist before 2008, and it is a cheaper build than a normal car tire...Less plies, etc. You can't go out and buy those specific Kenda tires for your car. BRP has a significant OEM...

    Givi V47 Top Case

Can you take a full on picture from the side of the whole spyder with that setup?

Daytona has Sport Mode - can it be retro-fitted to other models??

Owner of a 2017 F3-S here. Sport mode is over rated. Put it in sport mode a couple times, yeah it lets you get more sideways and doesn't retard the throttle. ***I really don't have too much of an issue getting sideways in default mode either. To answer your other question. Yeah, they can be...

    F3 rear tire

Kenda doesn't have enough plies so it balloons in the center at almost any pressure. So that makes the Kenda wear faster. Every car tire I've used has been better than the Kenda. 1. Kumho.... Piece of crap, but at least the wear was even across the tread. Didn't get much more life out of it...

Powering up Non Zumo GPS to Can Am F3 - Simple approch

Ahhh... It is the same. EH... I have a dual USB port installed on my F4 WindShield brackets and I installed a dual port on the handle bars. The one on the windshield stays dry even in heavy wind and rain... The bar mount one does not unless it is covered. So the 18 inch works for my purposes...

Powering up Non Zumo GPS to Can Am F3 - Simple approch

    Compression Bags

. I have this one... https://www.nelsonrigg.com/luggage/tail-bags/jumbo-expandable-tail-bag-510-detail.html You really won't find a hard case for the passenger seat, only hard case mounts for side and tail. So you have 3 options. 1. Soft tail/seat bag as linked. 2. Hard tail case - which by...

    Fuse Question

Secondly... Why is the audio system hooked up so that it has a parasitic draw? To maintain programming? If not to maintain programming then it is hooked up wrong or as I like to say... The lazy way.

    Fuse Question

If it is a battery tender then the output is likely in the 750 milliamp range. So your 5amp fuse is roughly 6.6 times the current in use. Use the 5amp. The fuse is there just in case there is a direct short to ground which will pretty much blow the 5 and 7.5 amp fuses right away anyway.

F4 still best choice for an F3?

I tried three shields on my F3-s. Shields are a highly personal thing. Everyone is a different height, torso lengths are different, your weight might define how low or high you sit in a seat or you may have a custom seat that changes your original riding height and position. Then we can change...

Possible Shad top box mounting solution

Just remember that the "tail" is real stubby on the F3 and F3-s. Those top cases or the Baker stuff overhang a fair bit and you should probably think about adding additional brake lighting for visibility. I've seen the Baker setup at the rallies and the amount of overhang can obscure the tail...

Whining from the back end - F3-S SE6

How is the belt tracking on the rear sprocket? Is is too tight against the flange? Never heard of that causing whining, but you never know. Otherwise, maybe bad Rear wheel bearings from new.

QUESTIONS ABOUT THE X-GRIP OR CELLPHONE HOLDER

Ram Mount actually recommends a tether for the X Grip use. In fact, I'm pretty sure the newer x grips come with a rubber tether out of the box. I know two people that have lost devices when hitting a rough patch of road when using the x grip. For my tether, I put all weather industrial hook and...

    Wiring

NOPE... Just Nope. While a direct connect to the battery is an option there are two problems with that. 1. Unless your USB socket has a separate on/off switch, that USB socket will ALWAYS draw power regardless of whether or not a usb device is plugged in... So you'll have perpetual parasitic...

    Oil/dip stick

Yeah... When you add, only do like 2 ounces at a time. It doesn't take much to get that to over filled on the dip.

    Quick Electrical Question...for a noob

. The GPS connector does not have to be used with a GPS. There is nothing special about it other than it comes on with the key versus the engine needing to be running. It comes down to personal preference.

    Quick Electrical Question...for a noob

You do not need to "tap" into existing wiring for lights, etc. You have 4 options for power on an F3. These three come on only when the engine is running. These three are specifically left there by BRP for YOU TO USE. All they are is pigtails. These can be hard to find but they are usually...

Opinions on a 2013 ST Limited

First... That is a really good deal and probably hard to ignore. Yeah, the 998 uses some oil. Typically not enough to get too worried about on a 3000 mile trip, but something that you end up checking from time to time and yeah, I carried some oil with me when I ran my 998. Really the only...

    Long Distance Trip Packing List

I used to over pack my GS/RS. I started to realize the last couple of years before I got my F3 that I didn't use a lot of the stuff I packed so I started to weed through and reduce as I knew I would have less room on the F3-S when I got it. I just didn't need the assortment of tools, spare...
