• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Can-Am's position on tires

Overnighted in La Crosse, WI Saturday, yesterday morn was rain RT. 33 to La Valle great road and my 6000 mile Kenda wasn't up to the task tire spinning on soft third gear shifts, let's not talk about dead stops and all the great curves in Wildcat State Park. The last 30 miles Hustiford to West...

    Heated Grips - Warm Enough?

You would think BuRP could get the heated grips right only because they have been standard issue on sleds since the 80's, the grips on my 2018 F3L are adequate at best on a 30F degree day, at 10F degrees I'd imagine they would be useless.

2016 F3-T saddlebag break.. Am I going to be forced to replace it?

It looks there is enough plastic left where you could fab a piece of metal that you can attach to the broken tab with a small screw and some epoxy. I would think that you could just order the door from BuRP if my solution fails.

    I really think I need an F3

One of the snowmobiling techniques that is difficult with the stock F3L seat is the ability to side saddle in the corners as it's really a clumsy effort to move around on the seat, your seat looks like it might be easy to slide into a side saddle? I'm sending my seat out to Laam in a couple of...

Heads up to UK f3 owners

I'm thinking that headlight would be in violation of UK vehicle safety regs, thusly it should be covered by BRP irregardless of the machines warranty status.

    It's a little bit trashy.

That's rodents for sure, it don't take but a few days for them to make a nest out of stuff like that.

Time for an oil & filter change - how best to raise my Spyder?

I don't raise my F3 when changing the oil, I use a round pan that is about 5" tall.

    No transmission

If the output shaft looks bad you need to contact BuRP, they should have a the record of the pulley being replaced under warranty. Many shops overlook difficult warranty jobs such as the output shaft because they can't make the factory book time. Best of luck with your machine.

Has anyone successfully changed sprockets on the F3 Limiteds?

Good info to know. Hey Vito, if you use the sprocket from an S model in a Limited you should just be able to use the ECU from an S in the Limited with the new sprocket....or am I missing something? :dontknow:

What size Ramps to load Spyder onto trailer?

You could install a bi-fold ramp gate on the trailer and just be done with dicking around with strapping and stowing ramps.

    Next Generation Spyder?

Not a fan of diesels, but what could be a good MPG engine for the Spyder is the Can-Am Offroad 171 HP 900 Ace Turbo, or the tamer 150 HP 900 ACE Turbo that Ski-Doo uses in there sleds, and did I mention that either engine would make for a stupid fast Spyder :yes...

    Next Generation Spyder?

I get on my buds F6B and it's just buttery, I put a Lamonster belt damper on and it took out most of the 70-75 mph belt vibe, but from the reports here I now have to worry abot it failing and taking out the belt. I have never rode a bike with DCT, but I do enjoy the paddle shifter on my F3L as I...
