• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Reverse Not Working Intermittently (Reverse Actuator Assembly)

I've seen video of dealers installing the reverse actuator on the 2022s and it looks easy. But I agree--still under warranty, let them take care of it. Once you do it yourself, they won't cover that part under warranty anymore.

How many 2022 Spyders Coming?? Shout if you've ordered/got one!

Cool--mine might be in the next week. I asked my dealer this morning, and they didn't have anything on the parts, yet.

How many 2022 Spyders Coming?? Shout if you've ordered/got one!

Just curious how long the parts took after your dealer got the Spyder? My Spyder has been at the dealer since the week of 4/12--trying to get an idea about how much longer I'll be waiting! Mine's waiting on windshield motor and reverse.

How many 2022 Spyders Coming?? Shout if you've ordered/got one!

Wow! Y’all are making me anxious! Hopefully my windshield motor is also in soon!

does a turbo sound appealing to you?

I was just playing around on the site. It does say $500--but the option "put down a deposit" is selected. As soon as you change it to "pay in full" the price shifts to $3,000 with a programmer. I'm guessing it goes up higher after taxes and shipping are added (I didn't go that far--just messing...

How many 2022 Spyders Coming?? Shout if you've ordered/got one!

I saw a handful of people post pictures of their new 2022s on Facebook. Anyone here get their's yet?

Do you think dealerships should offer some compensation/discounts ??

That's cool--but it's only $50 (and probably only costs Ford $10-$15) and it's for people who preordered the Maverick before November. The Bronco delay gift was more flexible--dealers were given a budget to help customers out in various ways. The letter dealers received includes some examples on...

Do you think dealerships should offer some compensation/discounts ??

My understanding is BRP has asked dealers to let preorders cancel and to refund the down payment if they don't want to wait. I'd be surprised to hear anyone isn't being allowed to cancel without forfeiting their deposit.

How many 2022 Spyders Coming?? Shout if you've ordered/got one!

A local dealer near me has a 2020 RTL with 1000 miles they're asking $30k, 2019 RTL with only 335(what!) miles for $27.6k and a 2019 F3-T with 8k miles they want $27.6k. All of them look stock and no upgrades are listed in the descriptions. Yep--not cancelling, the used prices just aren't worth...

Do you think dealerships should offer some compensation/discounts ??

Ummm… not the dealers fault. They need to pay their employees and would like nothing better than to get our cash so they can fund operations. The dealer doesn’t owe me anything. I’m the one who chose to make a down payment and continue to chose to be patient and not cancel my order.

Can't quite decide between Spyder and Ryker

I wasn't sure what kind of riding I wanted to do, so I bought the Ryker back in 2019. I had a blast with it but decided to upgrade to an RT since I enjoy longer rides and like the comfort. If money isn't an issue, I'd go with the F3-S. After riding the Ryker for 3 years, when I sat on the F3 it...

How many 2022 Spyders Coming?? Shout if you've ordered/got one!

That's interesting about them not having to pay interest on the inventory. At the same time, I'm sure they're just as anxious to deliver these to customers as we are to get them--we want Spyders and they want cash!

    Any news on missing components?

They’re doing it for warehouse space—they’re out of space in Quebec so it’s either stop production until missing parts arrive, or use the dealer network to hold bikes so they can keep building more while they await parts. My dealer told me BRP was guaranteeing them the missing parts in 45 days...

What Cover options are there for an RT (not an RTL!)??

Since it's the same cover, does it have like a zipper or something to tighten up the loose fabric? Or is it baggy (but secure) on the back?

What Cover options are there for an RT (not an RTL!)??

I'm getting a base RT--it seems all the covers I can find are for the RTL with the storage on the back. Has anyone used either the half or full RTL covers on the RT? Will the half cover stay on without the rear storage container? When parking outdoors (my office doesn't have covered parking)...

BRP is shipping incomplete bikes to their dealers!

This is known and something dealers have been handling with all types of vehicles for months. Even GM and Ford are shipping cars with missing parts telling customers they’ll get them later. I have a Spyder at the dealer missing the windshield motor and reverse solenoid. I could get madder by the...

    Ryker- is it big enough

I had the Ryker with a comfort seat and my limit was 100 miles/day before my backside was done. So I’m upgrading to an RT.

How many 2022 Spyders Coming?? Shout if you've ordered/got one!

My RT is at the dealer and built--minus the windshield motor and reverse solenoid. Shouldn't be much longer.

How many 2022 Spyders Coming?? Shout if you've ordered/got one!

If this was only a BRP problem--I'd agree with you. But the entire auto industry is in the same mess. Have you been by a car lot lately? They hardly have anything in stock. If you order a popular model, be prepared to wait for months. Ford has been shipping Explorers without chips (like...

    Tired of the waiting game!

Glad you got one! Mine arrived at the dealer last week minus a couple of parts. My dealer told me with watercraft they were getting all the parts in about 2 weeks even though they had the same 30-45 day estimate. Be safe and enjoy the ride!
