• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Help! Can't get rear tire off?

I think the order of tasks to get the rear wheel off the 2010 RTS with a hitch is: 1. Remove the rear brake caliper, two nuts, see shop manual and you will need to disengage the parking break to do this. 2. Remove the lower nut on the shock sensor link rod on left side 3. Remove the lower shock...

Help! Can't get rear tire off?

Lamonster to the rescue! Little tip for the idiots like me out there. If you have a hitch, mine was installed by the dealer so I did not know this, there is a long bolt that goes through the axel that retains the hitch. This, my friends, is not the axel. Thanks Lamont, your website and...

    2011 Can-Am Spyder RT Comparison

Not exactly a fair review. 110 miles! Really, then why did I just put 160 miles on my last tank while pulling a trailer. Not saying that the range of the Spyder is good, but at least be fair, 110 miles a tank is just a lie. Is it a motorcycle? Hell no. I hate it when motorcycle editors...

I need metal valve stems for a 2010 RTS

I installed the Doran tire pressure monitoring system on my 2010 RTS. It works great, but you really should not run the sensors on the rubber valve stems. The kit came with two types of metal valve stem replacements, straight and angled. Unfortunately, my dealer told me that these stems...

Lamont and the splash pan removal question

Although I doubt it matters taking them off (Lamont is proof enough of that), one option you can do is cut a hole in the pan and then reinstall. I used a 4 inch hole cutter (for cutting holes for dryer ducts) and then just reinstalled.

    Tranny stuck in 4th gear.

Last year my 2010 RTS SE5 got stuck in 3rd gear and I could not even manually shift it down with the 13 mm wrench. It turned out to be a bad solenoid. Dealer had a heck of a time figuring it out though because the solenoid tested fine on the bench.
