• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Some of my thoughts on Spyderfest 2013

Though the weather was not ideal, I still had a great time. The highlight was Thursday. We (myself, JCsmoke and Vickers) did a loop on 125 down to the ferry and then went down to Arkansas for a burger and then back up just in time to get to the drags. The drag racing was a blast. I know...

When would you like to see Spyderfest Happening?

It can rain or snow any week of the year in Missouri. Last year it was hot as heck and mostly sunny. Sometimes you get great weather, sometimes not so much. This is the nature of these types of things. Beats sitting in front of the T.V., even when the weather is bad. I will be back...

Thanks to all that worked so hard !!!

Ditto, thanks to Len, Pitbull Powersports, the vendors, the BRP folks, and MoGang for putting on a great Spyderfest despite real tough conditions! Your hard work is appreciated!

    GPS files for Spyderfest rides

I get that, but it certainly would be cool to be able to download the routes directly to my gps

    GPS files for Spyderfest rides

I would be willing to try to make the files, if someone from MOGANG sent me the maps with the ride directions.

    GPS files for Spyderfest rides

This may have been asked before, just wondering if anyone is going to make gps files for the spyderfest rides?

For any snowmobilers out there: the 2013 Ski-doo MXZX 800 etec

84 using the premarked track. I don't think it is a pattern issue, it is a numbers issue. The 800 etec makes 162 hp, that is 2 hp per stud, this simply is not enough, it spins the track like crazy and coming into turns hot it just doesn't stop like I am used to with 144 stud tracks. I will...

For any snowmobilers out there: the 2013 Ski-doo MXZX 800 etec

I have 800 miles on it. I think the XS has better wind protection than the XP's I have ridden. I could see getting a bigger windshield in the future, but we were riding in the U.P. last weekend in single digits and it wasn't too bad.

For any snowmobilers out there: the 2013 Ski-doo MXZX 800 etec

I bought my first Ski-doo this year after riding many many miles on Arctic Cats. Because of the Spyder, I have been in many BRP dealers and could not help but notice the Ski-doos in the show room. Well, this led to me buying a 2013 Ski-Doo MXZX 800 etec. I traded in my 2007 Arctic Cat F8 for...

    Finally an RXX Spyder snowmobile

As I remember the story, the spyder started out as a kit to convert a Ski-doo into a three wheeled motorcycle. The thing was fun but didn't work so well so they designed the spyder as a road only vehicle. I am all for out of the box thinking, but you are talking about inventing something that...

    Finally an RXX Spyder snowmobile

I also did not mention how the tranny will hold up to the increased torque strain from the resistance of the slide rails. This is not a good idea folks. You can buy a very good used snowmobile for $3K.

    Finally an RXX Spyder snowmobile

My 2013 Ski-doo MXZX 800 etec weighs about 475 lbs and makes about 162 hp. That RSS makes 100 hp and weighs about 700 lbs. This is not good. Snowmobiles are for snow, Spyders are for pavement, anyone that has any sense of enjoying performance would never mix the two. Just my 2 cents.

Better Fuel Milage for the RT?

Also, because of the Elkas I installed the nose of my RT is raised over stock nearly 2 inches. This may have led to more drag and by putting on the bump skid it helped me more than others.

Better Fuel Milage for the RT?

I am not the only one that found this, I know it sounds wrong, if I did not see it for my self I would not believe it either. I can tell you first hand, it improved gas mileage (2, maybe 3 mpg). The going theory is that it improves air flow under the bike and thus reduces drag. Drag is a...

Better Fuel Milage for the RT?

I have a 2010 RTS with tons of mods including a pipe and fuel controller. I tend to ride like I stole it so I get BAD gas mileage. That being said, the single best mod I found to improve gas mileage is the bump skid from Spyderpops. I didn't even buy the thing, I won it at Spyderfest last...

    Two Brothers Exhaust

I have the carbon fiber TB exhaust on my 2010 RTS with a P1 tip and it sounds great. Definitely NOT too loud at highway speeds. BE VERY CAREFUL mounting this pipe if you have the BRP hitch on your RT. Will leave a nasty gash, you can guess how I know this.
