• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Tires....a.g.a.i.n

:agree: I guess, in a way, I went back to MC tires on the front... If that counts. But I changed machines and can't fit a CT on the front of the Wing. :) :roflblack: But if I still had a Spyder, I would have retained the car tires I out on it. The Khumo Ecsta.

bike shut down while riding and not go into limp mode.and now have engine noise.

If you read the posts above, I think he states that they won't help since this is a first occurrence. But it sure seems like there should be a time limit, else a first occurrence could be a death sentence if you can't get another dealer to look at it.

Wow. Wow. Wow. You are certainly more patient than I would be. By now,,, I would have taken off work, loaded that thing on a trailer and hauled it to Valcourt BRP mothership and sat on someone's desk until it was fixed or I was physically forced out. This is just absolutely unacceptable...

    Towing

I would never, ever tow a Spyder with a cover on it. Dirt washes off, but scratches from the cover flapping around on the windshield and plastic?? Not so easy to fix. Save yourself a lot of heartache and just wash it. No joke.

Try Joes suggestion in post 6. That will generate the force you need. I think bob squirted some oil on that shock, so he can point it out to the missus and say, "see honey, we NEED those Elkas..." :roflblack:

To wave or not to wave, that is the question

Oh yeah! Because we all know that donning a do-rag automatically makes you the spawn of Satan. Should probably be punishable by death. Because you can always tell everything about a person by their clothing. Right on bro.......:banghead:

    2010 RT-S Throttle body

TB, I gave one to RickyLen when I got rid of my Spyder. Pop him an email or call. I bet they will ship you one for just shipping cost. They usually have a BUNCH after Spyderfest.

    Goldwing GL1500/GL1800 TRIKE vs RT

I think, in general, you will find this board is different than many other forums. It is a more friendly place and we try to keep it that way. There isn't a lot of bashing of other products here. Maybe some Harley bashing on occasion, but not even a fraction of what you see on other sites. Many...

    Goldwing GL1500/GL1800 TRIKE vs RT

Bob, I definitely wouldn't argue about the future dependability of the Spyder. It may well become the most reliable product on the market. But if we are honest, that isn't the case yet. I am just trying to portray, in the fairest and most honest way that I can, what is the "as is - as of today"...

    Goldwing GL1500/GL1800 TRIKE vs RT

I did discuss that a bit in the link I provided. I see it this way, while it would be very hard to argue that the Spyder is as reliable as a Wing, it would be equally difficult to argue that the Wing trike will handle as good as a Y factor Spyder. Especially in rain. But I don't frequently ride...

    Danica message to SpyderLovers

I think BRP made a mistake spending huge $$$ on Danica and Messier. I'd much rather see real riders like we had with the Spyder Five. And If you want a direct comparison,, I'd bet a lot of money that Faran directly sold a lot more Spyders than Danica!!!!!

I would definitely recommend the OP visit PitBull Powersports in Springfield MO, one of the best Spyder dealers in the USA, and probably closer to him
