• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    SPYDER QUEST

Americade is much bigger and more crowded, since it's geared towards all types of bikes. Spyderquest is strictly geared towards Spyders. Last year, there were somewhere north of 200 Spyders attending, as I recall. For more info, check out their website: www.spyderquest.com

    OT: Cutting the Cable?

Point taken - but this is the Off-Topic sub-forum, isn't it? :dontknow:

    OT: Cutting the Cable?

Thanks for those useful links! Great to see which channels are available on each streaming service. I checked out a friend's set-up (Amazon TV). It includes lots of apps like Hulu, SlingTV, Netflix, etc. Since I'm already an Amazon Prime member, I think that I'll give that a try. Thanks for...

    OT: Cutting the Cable?

I'm selling my house soon and downsizing to a townhouse. As a result, I want to simplify and cut some bills in the process. One of the most annoying bills I want to cut is Cable TV. Right now, I have Time-Warner's TV-Phone-Internet bundle which costs me almost $200/month. After moving, I...

    Boot question

After reading this, I'm convinced. Gotta get me some boots. Thanks!

Is This Tire Suitablr for my F3-T?.....

....as a rear tire? I have one Uniroyal Touring Track P205/60 R15 90H M+S tire that came off of my sister's car after very little mileage. (Maybe 1 - 2000 miles). It's probably 4 years old. Will this fit my Spyder as a rear tire? I'm thinking that I'll need to get new tires for the Spyder...

    Boot question

Sorry to hijack this thread - but why wear boots at all on a Spyder? Not trying to be difficult, but I'd like to know if there's a good reason. I always thought a reason for wearing boots on a 2-wheeler was to help prevent turning an ankle when putting your foot down when coming to a stop. -...

Where to get laser alignment done

I was just about to suggest that. They did mine there last year. Spyderquest is only about a month away.

    Anyone Ryde With a Pacemaker?

Due to an irregular (and slow) heartbeat, I had a pacemaker implanted a week ago. Had my first follow-up visits today and, although everything looks good so far, I won't be allowed to ryde for another three weeks. (At least I'm OK to drive again...). So, I'm just wondering whether anyone here...

Will that fit in a saddlebag of a 2016 F3-T?

    Looking For Windshield Advice....

Thanks for the links for the X-Creen, Roger. Looks interesting. Are you able to find a "happy medium" setting which still allows some wind to cool you off (in summer), while still deflecting most of it over and around you?

    Looking For Windshield Advice....

Very interesting (and low-cost) idea, Pete. I've never seen anything like this before. This might be worth trying! Thanks for the link!

    Looking For Windshield Advice....

I actually had Madstad in mind when I posted, but was wondering about other options. I'll take a closer look at Madstad. Thanks.

    Looking For Windshield Advice....

As they say - "Great Minds Think Alike!" That X-creen extender sounds interesting. I know nothing about it, so do you have a link?

    Looking For Windshield Advice....

My 2016 F3-T has the standard, stock windshield. I like wind therapy as much as the next guy and this windshield allows me to experience a good deal of wind. (I mean that as a good thing.) But, I'm finding more and more that I seem to a be a birdsh_t and miscellaneous debris magnet! On every...

    Soccer is dull

Soccer is dull? -- Really? I guess you missed some of the matches in this year's World Cup then - especially the Japan-Belgium match. This has been the most entertaining World Cup Finals that I can remember. Or you just don't have the same appreciation for the sport as the rest of the world...

    Initial impressions F3 Limited

Rattlebars - I don't know what the Fresnel Magnifier has to do with down-shifting, but I like the idea of using it to see the dash display clearer. My eyes ain't what they used to be.... I wonder if taping a couple of these to the center of the dash display might do the trick! They're...

Where did all my oil go?

Just to clear - According to this info, if you had your first service at 3000 miles, your next oil change isn't needed until the odometer reads 12,300, right? Thanks.

Drive From East Coast to Alberta CA?

Thanks for all the suggestions, guys! We've already been to Glacier NP, so have no plans to pass thru again. (Perhaps on the way home when we'll take the "southerly" route thru the US.) The guideline of 50 miles for each hour of driving seems like a good idea. We have no need to rush, but...
