• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Gear brake modulator

Understand completely and agree. Plug and play is nice but in this case even though mine is I had to make it myself using OEM connectors so I can always unplug my additions which fit in as jumpers in the regular circuit. Hopefully someone will get something on the market soon to help you out...

    Gear brake modulator

I just used a 3 to 4 trailer box to separate out the signals. Not using the brake modulator but I wanted it to be able to install some leds on the license plate bracket that would flash with the brake activation. Works fine. I have now tied in the leds on my saddle bags as well. CJ JAX

    Front Sprocket Failure

Happening on 2015 and 2016 models in the F3 line. I have only heard of one RT model that has had the issue. CJ JAX

    Front Sprocket Failure

Home Again! My baby is fixed and back home again! The gearbox fear was just that, fear. The Central Florida PowerSports did order one and had it on hand just in case but after examination and testing all that was needed was the sprocket.

RT fire from FB post in Memphis

Would much rather take my chances on a Spyder that might catch fire than risking death driving in a car with a Takata airbag. For that matter I think Tesla has a worse record if you look at the number of fires verses the number of vehicles produced. CJ JAX

Right Brake Light not working on F3

You just need to pull out a couple of push pins to pull back the body panel holding the tail light. This would give yo access to the connector to see if it was properly seated. Alternately you have three screws and one push pin on the underneath side toward the front of the bike to be able to...

    2015 f3s sm6 gearbox rattling

Check around the front sprocket for metal shavings. They become magnetized and will stick to surrounding metal parts. Also look below the sprocket as they also collect their. How many miles do you have in total? 300 would be really low for this type of failure. I think mine was one of the lower...

Front Sprocket Failure Update - Please Respond if you have had it happen.

Very little. I had some noise but it was passed off as normal. If you look below the sprocket and see metal shavings it is probably starting to go. CJ JAX

Front Sprocket Failure Update - Please Respond if you have had it happen.

I don't have a tensioner and wondered the same thing. It would seem that variations in belt tension could be a factor in why the failures happen at different mileages. CJ JAX

Front Sprocket Failure Update - Please Respond if you have had it happen.

So I was contacted by BRP Cares. A great thing by itself. They monitor the various social media sites as we all know. Curiously they claim not to see online reports of this or feedback from dealers. BRP has been working with me and the dealer to get my issue resolved. Where I have a BIG problem...

    Short Gasket?

Loving our new F3t but there are a couple of things that have me scratching my head. One is the gasket in the saddle bags. It is about 1/2" short of meeting? Does everyone have this issue? Was someone having a bad day measuring? The second is the rear sprocket. The outside edge is very rough...

    Electronic Repair Manual Choices

I currently have the electronic manuals from Midwest Manuals (manuals4mechanics) for the 2014 RTs we had and for the 2015 F3s I still have. Looking for a manual for our 2016 F3t and wonder if anyone has compared the manuals from Midwest and TechSpark CJ JAX

    Front Sprocket Failure

Haven't heard about RT problems. The F3 now has a new part number for the front sprocket. Guessing some kind of change? Tighter material spec? Of bigger curiosity is how belt tension played into the equation. As I stated above I could see it either way. In any case I see belt tensioners in our...

    Front Sprocket Failure

The belt was adjusted twice because it wouldn't track straight. It would move to the inside of the rear sprocket after about 1k miles. Obvious now that the front sprocket was going and as the play in the sprocket increased the belt would move. I don't think that belt tension is what caused the...

    Front Sprocket Failure

I guess. I had to order the part since the dealer wouldn't until they verified the issue and they got BRP to agree it was warranty. agreed to reimburse me for the cost if it was bad and covered. The parts department confirmed the change in part number. CJ JAX
