• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Missing Saddle Bag Reflector

I rode a couple hundred miles yesterday. I wanted to give the 2013 ST Limited a bath before putting her to bed. Sadly, I noticed that she is missing a reflector on the left side saddle bag. It's the oval shaped reflector right in the middle of the side. Any idea where I could pick up a...

    2013 ST stereo problems

This is an interesting problem. If you tried another speaker, your old one is probably OK. How did you check that you were getting power to the speaker? I would think that there is no signal going to the speaker from the amp. Worst case scenario is that the amp is blown; best case is a loose...

    Where to this weekend ???

Don't forget the pie shop If you are going to Buttzville, it would be a shame to not stop at Village Farmer and Bakery at Delaware Water Gap, PA. Great pies and other treats. Not fancy, but lots of fun. AT hikers love their Hot Dog and Pie special for lunch. All the best, John

    Antenna removal

Don't Cut Your Antenna Antenna are made to a certain length for a reason. It's not just a piece of wire. It is made to a certain length to receive a a specific range of frequencies. Be very careful about cutting it off: a short piece of antenna would be dangerous to someone getting on the...

    Antenna removal

My Thoughts on the ST Limited Antenna Just a few thoughts from a ST Limited owner: I think the antenna looks cool. I don't want to cut it off or replace it with a shorty $8 Walmart replacement. I actually listen to my radio when I ride. Not all the time, of course, but sometimes it's nice to...

    STS heat question

2013 ST Limited Side Panel Replacement And, that's the way it should be. I took my 2013 ST-L to my local dealer in PA and asked them to look into the situation. They looked up the service report and found that Can-Am even says that if replacement panels are not available to match the original...

    Waving etiquette

Wave to All (When Possible) I wave to anyone on 2 or 3 wheels. I also wave to all Amish children, and any Amish adults who wave first ;). I have encountered a few Harley riders who do not wave to Spyders. My wife and I were riding on a beautiful summer day, going slowly through a complicated...

    STS heat question

I don't think the recall check will work. The recall is for RT, not ST. Replacing the panels on the ST is more of a goodwill gesture on the part of Can-Am; there is no recall for the ST heat issue. Thanks, John

**** "DO'S & DO NOTS" for NEW SPYDER OWNERS... ****

Thanks for a Great Post I looked at Spyders 3 years before taking the plunge. When I saw the new ST in 2013, I knew that was what I would own someday. It was a bit pricey for me, but I figured that some day it would happen. This summer (2015), my wife and I decided it was time. I found a 2013...

    xm radio

Hi RUOUTHERE, I have a 2013 ST Limited. Do you know if the Zumo 665 works on the same mount as the 660? Is all of the wiring compatible? Does it require another antenna for XM/ Thanks, John

Utopia Backrest I hadn't heard about the Utopia backrest. Can you put one on a ST Limited seat?

    Aftermarket Seat

Hey Everyone, Thanks for your suggestions. I rode a few hours today (Labor Day) and had a great time. I have been trying to adjust my posture as I go to reduce back strain. I still think that we will replace the stock seat in the Spring. Before then, I will do some research on your suggestions...

    Aftermarket Seat

I am thinking about changing seats next spring. I currently have the stock seat on my 2013 ST Limited. It's comfy for a couple of hours, but on longer rides my back starts aching. Does anyone have experience with seats that have backrests for both the passenger and the driver? I see that...

    turn Signal qusetion

On the 2013 ST, they are self-cancelling. I had a sticky issue with my right turn signal, and my mechanic took care of that earlier today;). Just had to clean it. To cancel manually, you push the switch in, like you are pushing a button.

    Radio Quality

I've tried tweeking the tone controls. Come Spring I'll be looking for Bluetooth headsets. They should make a difference, plus, my wife and I can talk while we ride.

    Radio Quality

Hi to All, I am new to Spyders. Two weeks ago I bought a 2013 ST Limited with 186 miles on it from a dealer in Lancaster County, PA. I love the bike, and I have put about 500 miles on it. My only complaint is about the radio. It is functional; I can scan for stations; I can store presets. The...
