• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Great Lakes Police Motorcycle Training Seminar

Today was the last of three days of practice, learning and competition for police motorcycle operators from across North America. This was a big event. BRP was present with a Spyder display, and a lot of interest was expressed by a number of police services. Demo rides were offered, and a lot of...

    Ok on a positive note:

SE5 vs. SM5 Glad you got it sorted out. I had a chance to ride an SE5 one morning earlier this week and I really liked it, much more than I was expecting to. It's pretty cool to be able to do those instant shifts. :2thumbs: Bruce

    Lost my best friend

Very Sorry Folks who are not "dog people" don't understand how deeply we connect with these guys. I am very sorry about your buddy. I feel your grief, as I have gone through it several times as well. If only dogs had the same lifespan as we do, it would be a lot easier on all of us. :( Bruce

    Police Spyder

Yeah, the "police" part was already on the screen in reverse format, so our guys just added the "London" above it. I had it out for a while this morning. It is amazing to watch how law-abiding drivers become when they see something like this behind or beside them! This one is an SE5...

It is white Tom, but that is not a factory colour. It has full LED flashers and a very loud siren. Bruce

    Police Spyder

BRP has provided an SE5 Spyder to the London Police Service for a short time to test out in traffic patrol duties. We put it on the road today. I have attached a picture of one of our officers on the unit as he went on the street with it for the first time. The Spyder has generated a lot of...

    Vote for a Spyder!

How did you do that? I voted from my home computer and my work computer, but when I went to the site again on my home computer, I could not vote. The site showed the voting results without the option to put in another vote. It obviously knew I had previously voted from that location. Bruce

    Vote for a Spyder!

:agree: I voted for you again, from my work computer this time. That Vision is a vision, all right. :yikes: The owner must have a lot of friends and family throwing in votes. It looks like it took a serious beating with an ugly stick. Bruce

Requests for all the praying SpyderLovers

Welcome Home Great to see you're on your way back Deb! Excellent pics. As I think I told you, my oldest son spent two years in Africa (Ghana and Malawi) with Engineers Without Borders. I am always amazed at the spirit of the African people, who have so little by way of material possessions...

    Cramp Buster- works

:agree: Scotty, I tried one a number of years ago on my Kawasaki Concours and I had a heck of a time controlling the throttle. Found myself giving the bike gas when I had no intention of doing so. I took it off before I did something really embarrassing! So there are at least two of us. :D Just...
