• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Stuck on '24 RT-L 10.25" Navigation applet screen - anyone else had this happen?

I bought a little WIFI extender. Little thing not any larger than pack of cigarettes. Plugs into a wall electrical plug in wall. Worked for me to extend my WIFI out to my shed. Just a thought for you, so you wouldn't need to move your pickup and Spyder.

Thinking of getting a floor jack - how hard is it to find the right place to lift?

The parking brake only works on the rear tire. I lift up the back of my Spyder with a Harbor Freight floor jack. Sorry Amigo Jack, I got my reply hooked to your reply instead of Vito's.

2021 RT Passenger grips are not very warm and the illuminated switch is very dull compared to the heated seat switch next to it - any ideas?

Same as on my '22 RTL. The light is dim and the grips not very hot. Wife wears motorcycle rechargeable battery heated gloves, she loves them. Gloves need to be wind proof, water proof, and insulated to be effective in keeping hands warm if they're not heated.

Is the Radio Reception on 2024 Spyder RT Limited's any good?

My '17 RTL had good reception and sound, and my '22 RTL good reception an sound. I have no problem with them.

How does the Older and Newer Generation RT Passenger seat/leg room compare?

If you're going to be riding 2 up most of the time, I would go with an RT. When I drive the wife's F3 and she is on too, she and I both feel cramped for space. On my RT we feel better for room and I can move my feet around more on it. On the older '17 RT that I had it was a good ride, but my '22...

    Is canam-partsstore Reputable?

One address has 2 'ss'. The good site has only 1 s in the middle of the address. 'partsstore' = bad; 'partstore' = good. I didn't try to go to either site. Just saying that one has 2 s in name. But then there are other sites being talked about that are not even close to the op. I don't know...

    Is canam-partsstore Reputable?

The 2 addresses for this site in thread are spelled different. From the one that's a scam and the other site that the guy had good service from. Exact spelling is a must if you go to a site. One wrong letter and you don't know where your at.

Does anyone leave the parking brake off during winter storage? And some rodent protection discussion...

they probably sell Zappers that are bigger to use on rats. I use mine for mice in the garage and around the outside of house. Works good on mice, but too small for rats to get into it. I don't use any poisons these days for mice and rats. My dog ate a mouse that had eaten a piece of poison bait...

Does anyone leave the parking brake off during winter storage? And some rodent protection discussion...

I use an Owltra Electric Mouse Zapper from Amazon. It uses 4 x AA batteries. I like it. I use peanut butter sometimes, and cheese sometimes. It sells for $18 or $19 if I remember rightly.

Is there a Good Service Dealer In Western Washington State?

There are some really nice places to see on the Olympic Peninsula and rides around it. Have fun. Nathan in Yakima, WA.

Is there a Good Service Dealer In Western Washington State?

Glad you found a place to take your Spyder too. Also that they took care of you and not put you off. Sounds like you like them. Have fun riding your Spyder.

Is there a Good Service Dealer In Western Washington State?

There is another place in emuclaw? Klims I think how its spelled. He used to service Spyders an put on what ever kinds of tires you bring him. He used to be good. I don't know if he still does Spyders or if he still good at them.

Is there a Good Service Dealer In Western Washington State?

I ride my Spyder an the wife rides her Spyder to Pro Caliber in Vancover for service from Yakima. We ride on the Washington side of the Columbia river. Lots of scenery compared to the freeway on Oregon side of the river. If you take your Spyder there for service make sure to tell them when...

Passenger USB ports dead - any ideas on why?

Check and make sure the wires aren't on backwards. Maybe they need switched. + to -, - to + only thing I can think of now.

Anyone tried to source '24 Sea to Sky Brown/bronze accent parts?

All I can think of, is open a case file with brp. Think that's what its called. BRP is iffy on how much they will help seems like.

So many complaints about the Spyders. Anyone with no problems?

No problems on the wife's '19 F3L. No problems on my '22 RTL either, except I changed out the battery; it didn't seem to be turning over like it should. The tires that came on it seem just fine, my opinion only it seems like. I do ride in winter if the roads are dry. I just dress for the cold...

2024 will Crank, but just won't start! More later...

I second the call to get rid of the chinese battery if you have one in your Spyder. I got rid of mine in the first yr. It turned slower than the Yusa battery I had in my other Spyder. I got a Yusa battery on Amazon; filled it and let sit; then put it on my battery charger. Been all good since.

New Spyder sold with no factory warranty - is this right? What say you all?

That doesn't sound right to me. 8 months left of warranty - it still would have some warranty left. If it had been a demo there would have been mileage showing on the dash-mileage. It's against the law to show the wrong mileage - speedo-instrument replaced vehicles still have to have something...

What's best for Cold weather winter storage? Fuel additive? Battery care? Rodents?

Like 2dogs, I use mouse trap and a battery powered mouse trap that zaps the mouse. I put steel wool in the end of muffler if I remember too. Fuel stabilizer in the fuel tank when I gas up before parking for winter. But we take our Spyders out during winter for rides too. As long as roads are...
