• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Coronavirus - what have done to prepare for this ???

You don't need to guess, or wonder what to believe or which news source is accurate. Either of these two links will keep you informed with REAL information: https://www.cdc.gov https://www.arcgis.com/apps/opsdashboard/index.html#/bda7594740fd40299423467b48e9ecf6 We just bought a house in...

Should we buy 2012 limited or wait to afford 2014 or newer

We bought our 2013 RT-S in 2016 with just over 6000 miles. We get about 30 MPG and it has been very reliable for us. I wouldn't hesitate to go on a multi state trip tomorrow if I had the chance. Ours has had all the recalls done because of the heat issue that the 2013's were plagued with and...

You're right, I forgot that part. Can you tell I'm one of those that don't use the kill switch regularly?:opps:

    Start up after storage

If in doubt, why not set the kill switch to the off position, then crank for maybe a total of 10 seconds? Then put it to the on position and start it. No guess work involved.

    Tennessee motorcycle license

Basically, what I want to know is if I take a test on my Spyder, will I get an endorsement for three wheelers only, or is it for all motorcycles. I guess it doesn't really matter, as I don't have anything other than our Spyder. Thanks for the replies.

    Tennessee motorcycle license

Can anyone give any insight on Tennessee motorcycle license requirements? The way I read it, you get one class of license for a bike over 150cc's, regardless of two or three wheels. Is that correct? My Illinois class D-M license allows me to drive a car as well as ANY motorcycle, two or three...

    Tennessee dealers

We sold our Mexico Beach, Florida property and just bought a house near Sparta, TN. I have found several dealers in the area from BRP's website. Can anyone tell me anything about any of them? Good, bad or indifferent? My wife and I are REALLY excited about our move! Thanks!

Spyder RT 2013 Owners - did the Recalls fix the issues?

We bought our 2013 with barely 6000 miles on it in 2016. Read all the comments about the heat issues and the admonishments not to get one. We made sure that all recalls had been done and decided to get it. Well, we now have over 24000 miles on it and the heat issues have never materialized...

    Changing Seasons

Today was the first cool day of fall, with a temperature around 45° and a little bit of rain off and on. Supposed to get down to 31° tonight. The leaves have very little color other than green. Still looks like summer for the most part. The bad part is that I had surgery on my right elbow...

Switching might be a good idea. The last thing you want to do is to hide in plain sight!

What color raingear do you wear?

Hi-Viz, like virtually everything else, isn't 100% foolproof. The old saying still holds true. You can't fix stupid!

What color raingear do you wear?

I am a LOT more concerned about being seen than I am about my gear looking a little dirty! How do you think it will look if you get hit by a driver who doesn't see you? When I was working as a Boilermaker, I was often required to wear Hi-Viz gear on job sites.......because it works!

Way, Way OT: Dealing with a Wasp Infestation? HELP!

Contact an independent exterminator to check their price, independents are often cheaper and do just as good a job, or better. Barring that, see if a neighbor or a handyman would be willing to help, with compensation on par to the risk involved.
