• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Do you cruise it , or pound it ?

Cruisin' Much more Crusing than Pounding, but I REALLY love to Cruise down to the mountains where I can Pound. It's about 1000 miles of Cruisin' to get to 11 miles of pounding. {Toronto to Dragon) There has been enough Cruisinin to warrant the purchase of an RT

XENON DEPOT HID LIGHTING- PLEASE HELP

I have to agree with Arthur, It made a huge difference when I aimed my "Regular" headlights according to the owners manual. (easy to align, btw). I did add Fog Lamps when I bought my RS and find that they help, especially in Fog & Rain where the lower light sourse is an advantage to cut down on...

    2012 RT-S

Congratulations on the Lava Bronze RT!!! :D Same kind of deal with my trade in. The dealer was going to take the trade in, but I asked that I keep it until the RT-S arrived. 72,000km when I signed, 75,000km now. Still runs like a top, but i am opting for the comfort & convenience of the RT...

    2012 RT-S

Thanks Fast Fraser, I didn't want to settle for the Audio Convenience when I really wanted the RT-S. The price was actually better on the 2012. Just hoping it won't be a long wait into the New Year. I ordered my SE5 January 2008 at the Bike Show and got it late September, but it was really the...

Looking for input for Crutch holder for RTS

I'll be watching for an answer here too! Hoping to have my RT soon. I strapped my Crutches on my RS to the passenger Grips. I am thinking a Rifle Case might be the answer for the RT, but I will have to try out a few things when I get it (soon, I hope)

    White 2011 RS SE5 for a T-10 of 37 years

I feel your frustration Mark, but you'll continue just fine when the weather gets better. I rode through Maine, New Hampshire, Mass and the other New England States a couple of weeks ago. I appreciate what you said about a short season. It was 6C and Raining for a couple of days off and on...

    Enabled Passengers

It sounds like "Bernie" has a great attitude and great people, such as you around him. I am only a left leg above knee amputee, so not nearly as inspirational as many here on the forum. i can say though, that if there is any bike that has made my life continue with quality, it IS the Spyder. I...

I completed the Saddle Sore 1,600 km Ride on the first Saturday in June 2009. I rode my 2008 RS. Looking forward to going around the Great Lakes next Summer. It will be a little more comfortable (I am guessing) on my 2012 RT-S :ohyea:

    Where Did My Oil Go?

Same on my RS I use about the same amount of oil on my RS. Not sure where it goes either, not leaking or smokin' but about a quart between oil changes. I don't mind adding oil, but wish I had of known that it might be needed. before letting it get so low before I started to recognize the fact...

    Major tire wear issue

Unfortunately, mine was not, we thought it might have been but I think because of the milage (~50,000) it was considered wear and not a defect. It was about $ 196 labour and $176 for the ball joints.

    Major tire wear issue

I had the reverse sides affected. Right tire had inside wear. I thought alignment might have been the issue as well. it turned out that the ball joints had worn. I had them replaced and it's handling great. I had about 50,000 miles on the odometer at the time.
