• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Learning Garmin Basecamp

I have tried Basecamp and want to use it, but the installer insists on loading it on my 'C' drive. I do not want to have that size program on my primary OS drive as it is only a 65G SSD. I have found no way to get it to install on my other MUCH LARGER drives. :banghead:

Watch out for a**holes who aren't paying attention!

I am reminded every day I work of the hazards on the road. I work at a pharmacy. I see way too many 'impaired' people (drugged?, infirm, can hardly walk, aged, and just plain ignorant) come in, get their meds and go out and get in their cars and motor off. Scares the heck out of me. :yikes...

    Pin program for mileage

:agree: My question also. Clicking on any of the 'Owner' spaces only takes you to the home page. Can't register. Only buttons that work go to the accessories, etc.

State law's for added led lights

I ryde/have ridden over 3/4 of VA and have had no problems with any law enforcement on matters concerning lights. LED or other wise. Spyder and two-wheeler, and yes, I have extra LED lighting in front and rear. (I do stay away from "Northern Va" and "Tidewater".)

    Givi Monts

I don't particularly care for the GIVI tail light mount, either. Well not the mounts themselves, but the exposed wiring. I used what I had in the garage the shield the exposed wiring, plus the added wiring along the swing arm is encased in protective tubing. I may wander around the hardware...

Continuing on: The connectors can be pushed back out of the way. The pix don't really show how bright they are. They also flash the brake lights. So far no problems from the 'Nanny" Helps to be seen from the rear ! :ohyea: Joe

    Givi Monts

The mounts themselves are not hard to install. Only eight bolts/nuts total. Because I have the Sport Rack I had to remove it completely to raise the seat high enough to get to the rear bolts. The more time consuming and harder is relocating the turn signals. Did not need to tap in or splice...

    Short Mountain Ride Today

Took a short ride today on the Skyline Drive from the Swift Run Gap to the northern terminus at Front Royal. Saw two whole Spyders. A silver and black GS/RS going through the circle in Gordonsville and a red RT up on the Drive. While stopped at one of the overlooks a guy stops and asks if he...

    Givi Monts

I ordered the mounts for the V35 cases from Italy a few days after your post. I received them on Monday (7-6). Wednesday they were on holding my cases! They were a little pricy but about on par with mounts I've purchased here in the States for my BMW. The vendor, SPEEDMANIA in Reggio Emilia...

    56,000 Post

I looked up Grahamsville, NY on Google Earth a while back and thought about riding up there on a long weekend. I figured if I stopped in to talk about insurance he might pause from SL for a bit. I also figured I could find him easy enough. He sure wouldn't be out riding ! :roflblack:
