• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Helmets

I switched because my Mutitech was seven years old. It was a good helmet, 'tho a bit noisy compared to the C3 Pro. If there hadn't been such thing as a C3, I would have gotten a Neotech. (pic is old - no Spyder - a BMW) :D

    Helmets

Schuberth C3 Pro here. Only advice: try one on if possible before purchasing. Super quiet. With a SENA 10U almost perfect. A bit expensive, but costs less than a skull repair job !

    IS THERE SUCH A THING

I have an Ultimate Tall Boy with backrest. And even it gets very uncomfortable after about 200 miles. I also have a bony butt. It also seem that the backrest pushes me too far forward. I'm hesitant about trying to add one of Dave's gel pads . . . a bit afraid I may screw up an expensive seat.

    Night Riding?

I'll ride at night if the situation arises. I don't deliberately go out at night. Given the choice, rain riding trumps night. (I have good raingear and LED lights).

    12V doesn't equal 12V

Did you wire the power outlet directly to the battery ? When you measured at the battery, did you put the red meter lead on the positive (+) battery terminal and the black meter lead on the negative (-) ? There is no way you could see no voltage, then voltage if you measure directly across the...
