• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    unknown tickling noise

Hmm oil change Maybe either the panel (lower left front "quick remove" panel) isn't quite on, or one of the doohickey quick-grab-things has lost a washer which is rattling around inside, or something similar ?? I am a great believer in trying easy/simple solutions first...

    unknown part?

Easy rider - a poster can delete his/her message any time - but if someone else has quoted it in their post, the quote stays. Likely the poster deleted his info realising he had followed a red herring, as it was about something different to the op query.

Hot Right Foot! Muffler/exhaust heat unbearable!

Agree Perhaps newer owners don't know about the brp air scoop kit/fix as per the Recall for the 2013 RT - also fits 2012 and makes a huge difference to airflow Note I don't have an rt- just passing on info

    Highway Speed RPM

Re upgrade from twin to triple - all I can add is that on a 2000km trip with me on my ST and husband on his F3S, the triple had a 25% greater fuel range. Since changing from my st to f3s I can say that I really really love not having to start looking for a petrol station every five minutes I...

From your signature, you already have an F3S as well as RT Are you therefore asking about differences between F3S and F3 Limited ?

    Hopefully another Spyder owner

All good info above, but may I add - Ergonomics Rules Make absolutely certain your wife is comfy on the RT I can't even sit on an rt seat for five minutes without hip seizing up - but that's just me. The F3 range, with easy low-cost peg/bar position changes is wonderful. Realistically...

    Driver backrest for 2017 F3-S?

Other choices are Utopia (I have on my f3s and love it) or Smoothspyder (husband has, converts from rider to passenger easily)

    how much can I pull?

You can pull to the hitch rating - 230kg on my frame mounted hitch, believe it is 181kg on brp hitch. Our camper has hydraulic brakes, works well when slowing. On the ST- make sure you put it in Trailer Mode to keep revs high and protect clutch mechanism. We have towed happily with RS, ST...

    Under $10,000 Spyder

The sub 10K spyder is currently called Project S, to be unveiled sept this year. Why does it matter ? Just think - a popularly priced spyder - even if less cc - might just sell very well - lots of new riders, some who would never contemplate two wheels. If it's a real hit, just think of the...

    Multiple Error Codes - VSS & DPS, P0600, U0126, U1101, U1150, & U1160 - any ideas?

Maybe Peter from Adelaide Hills will chime in with ideas and/or contacts. I know there are a couple of non brp spyder service places in SA, with good reputations Good luck

    '15 F3S rear suspension .

Hmm - the rear shock on the 15 f3s is not adjustable. Here is a pic of the stock and the two up shock for the 15 - if yours is the one with hardly any coils, it is stock - if not, you have some kind of upgrade...

    Handlebars

I have the short reach bars on my f3s, rolled down to just clear of tank on full lock. Compared to stock bars, they are a little over an inch longer/closer. Doesn't sound much, but made a big difference to me. Hope this info is helpful.
