• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    k&n air filter

Any engine for that matter. I know several owners have had complaints about their airbox. If your interested in a K&N I would suggest buying one from a retailer that accepts returns, like HDXBONES did, and not use it if it doesn't look like it's going to seal. Mine fit great, the price was...

    k&n air filter

K&N makes it, they just don't know it! Even though they don't list a filter for the Spyder, in their cross reference guide, they list 33-2006 as a replacement for the A13192 used in the Spyder.

After reading all of the posts on the MCcruise cruise control for the spyder I think I'm sold.

    Crazy Weather!!!!

18 degrees Friday night in northern West Virginia and 60 degrees Monday morning. Didn't ride today because of all the salt and runoff on the roads.

First cold weather ride...Need winter gloves, or glove warmers...

I wondered the same thing about heated seats because it's never been an issue for me either. I rode 100 miles 2 weeks ago. It was in the mid 20's but I was wearing Carhartt Arctic extreme bibs and jacket and my butt was plenty warm enough. I just need to do something for my hands. I don't...

Thanks, your link worked. Have you got to use it very much and what do you think of it? How did you pick it over the audiovox unit?

    ANYBODY SEE ...

There is a description on Corbin's site and they say it bolts to their saddlebag brackets. MSRP is $399 for the hitch and you have to have their $1700 fleetliner saddlebags to bolt it up. I love some of their stuff but I can't bring myself to buy it because it is so ridiculously priced.

The muffler is a Ractive 605 2 3/8" universal polished stainless steel tuner muffler. The pipe is a MagnaFlow 10706 2.5" stainless 90 degree mandrel bend elbow. I had it flaired to fit over the stock collector and had it tig welded to the muffler. I thought it was loud until my neighbor got a...

    Hindle...

I agree. Changing the exhaust is a must to help bring out the potential of the Rotax and I'm glad to see the price is coming down but I still think most motorcycle exhausts are rediculously priced. Other than time I literally only have $83 in my polished stainless exhaust and it sounds phenominal.

Most of the ones I've seen are DOT approved to FMV 218 specifications which means they should be suitable for road use. That goes for any helmet.

    k&n air filter

I'm using a K&N 33-2006 with a cold air intake and custom exhaust. Every little bit helps but the exhaust made the biggest difference.

    BRP Helmets

BRP MSRP is $329.99. I just can't bring myself to buy one at this price so where can I get one for $165?

    FYI-Shell Rotella synthetic

Who makes BRP's oil? I have almost 3,000 miles of extemeley aggressive riding(almost ready for new tires) on the Shell Rotella synthetic in the blue bottle, with no problems so far. I haven't been pulling a trailer though! I know towing can be harder on a drive train than agressive riding and...

    Quick direct air mod.

Looks good. I test fitted my tubing and forgot to cut off the deflector before I installed it on the bike. I think I noticed more of a difference at lower RPM's. My rear tire will break loose at about 2800 rpm in first. Before the cold air intake it was about 4,800 rpm. Let us know how...

BUT HOW DOES IT HANDLE IN CORNERS?

VSS usually takes over and applies the brakes as I'm going into the turn and shuts down the ignition as I try to accelerate out of the turn. I think it's a little too senstitive because I know the Spyder has more to give, although I have had it on two wheels a few times on hairpin turns. A lot...

    Wider tires

Pic of my tires, not Steven888's 185/60-14's. These are 205/40-ZR16's. Sorry if that reply was misleading.

Formula One Fender and Wheel Kit(pics)

I can not speak on if he choose the proper tire size, etc. but I can speak on the 17" upgrade we offer, when we decided to go bigger, we ensured that our wheel meet the specifications that BRP set out from the factory. With our 17" upgrade, the overall diameter of our wheel & tire combo is the...
