• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What sort of Fuel range on a tank; and does sport mode change mapping?

I have put about 35,000 miles on my 2019 Rally and driving on backroads at 50 to 60 miles an hour, I can certainly get 180 miles out of a tank. On one occasion, I got slightly over 200 miles out of a tank. The autonomy function of the gauge is quite accurate letting you know how many miles you...

    CVT belt life

I do not have a precise measuring instrument. So, I cannot tell you the width of my belt when replaced.

    CVT belt life

I am now on my 3rd belt. In changing out the 1st 2 belts, the used belts looked in great shape. Accordingly, I decided to change belt once per season. I now have over 15,000 miles on this year's belt. Absolutely no issue so far. I will probably put on 2,000 more miles this season before changing...

    Atlas throttle lock

Yep, been riding with one for 2 years. I wouldn't make a trip without it. Works great. Early on, the contact pad came off during a long trip rendering it inoperable. In a moment of unusual creativity, I cut a very small section of rubber fuel hose, flattened it and super glued it in place...

Loud whining sound at idle after a fairly short run

I have experienced all of the above including fuel pump failure. I want to point out that the failure is not abrupt. It happens over time and manifests itself through a lack of power at higher speeds as the fuel pump cannot generate enough pressure to supply the engine when traveling, in my...

    Bucket List Trip Report

Didn't monitor fuel efficiency other than to say I could generally get about 140 miles out of a tank without worrying. Autonomy function is quite good. No problem with luggage. I put all clothes in plastic bags just in case. Nolan full face helmet I have cheap ebay driving lights on my A arms.

    Bucket List Trip Report

One more thing I forgot to mention. Definitely need to wear earplugs.. 80 miles an hour and 6600 RPM's is tough on the ears.

    Bucket List Trip Report

Really had pretty good weather the whole time. We ran through a brief shower that was a little heavier and you do have to watch out for hydroplaning on these 3 wheelers. Just need to slow it down a bit and be on the watch for standing water.

    Bucket List Trip Report

Just return from a 6,600 mile tour from Indianapolis to the Badlands, Black Hills, and Sturgis. Then, on to the Big Horn mountains and Cody and Chief Joseph Highway as well as Bear Tooth pass. Then over to Missoula, Montana for Lolo Pass and up and back track through Glacier National Park. Then...

    Windshields Adventure vs Sport

I tried both. To me, the sport looks just too small for the bike. The adventure was better but still not great. I went back to my own homemade windshield and now I'm content.

Was your stock Ryker stable over 50mph? If not, what did you do?

This afternoon I was on interstate 29 in South Dakota with speed limit of 80 miles an hour and had no issues whatsoever with my Ryker Rally. Stable as can be. I love it.

    Ryker dies when riding

My fuel pump went out and the symptom was that the bike began to hesitate at higher speeds as the fuel pump could not keep up with the fuel demands of the engine.

Thanks for the ideas. I will not be able to make it South of San Francisco as we will be heading inland to Yosemite from San Francisco.

    Another touring thread.

I actually prefer Monkey Buttons applied liberally:) We will be doing Chief Joseph. Then, in Northern Idaho, Lolo Pass. Will be checking out Mounts Ranier & St. Helens and then heading down Washington and Oregon coast to the Avenue of the Giants in No. California. On way back, will head across...
