• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Spyder Pops Rock Guard WARNING

I have done two long rides on fresh chip and seal roads. One in Indiana that the rocks were in piles high enough to bottom out on in a few spots :yikes:. No problems even without the rock guard. But I know it was just luck or I was riding so fast the rocks were not able to keep up with me...

    Sydee got a "Boo Boo"

Glad you'r OK so to speak. That front wheel sticking out to the side is a big safety factor in an accident. I'm glad the car did not hit another foot further back.

    Beautiful loaner RT LTD...

:agree: Mine is just the opposite. You have to press hard to kill the engine. The cable from the switch goes a long way before it ends and everything between has to be remove for access. I am waiting for my 14K service before I get replaced.

Went to the Freal Show today...

My wife and I went to one last weekend in Bristol, IL. They had jousting and the whole nine yards. It seem that almost everything was R rate. They had to ask families with kids to leave a few of the shows. Same costumes that you talk about :yikes:. Can't wait until next year ;).

Right side heat routing new ideas.

I have added a plastic louver to the bottom pad area to do just this. It does help lower the engine temps. I ran at highway speeds with intake air temp at 98 degrees and the analog gauge will drop to only one third the scale. Sat in stop and go traffic going 3 miles in 40 minutes...

    Beware of flying truck tires....

I have seen this on I-90 in Chicago :yikes: Wheel bouncing across three lanes of on-coming traffic. It did end up hitting at least one car. I was on a bus as it went flying by but did not see how it all ended.

Need mount options for my GPS on my 08 GS Spyder

For your dash mount option this is what I did on my '09 GS. I just used a beam clamp to hold the standard ram ball from the GPS suction cup mount. Not fancy but worked great and placed the GPS up where I could see it.

TOO MUCH HEAT! And I alost passed out.

The gaskets might be a little hard to switch out by yourself, an extra hand would be helpful. If you PM me your address I have a new set of Honda gaskets I'll send you free of charge. If you are getting some backfiring it is another sign of bad gaskets.

Good on ya RT2012 lava Bronze Spyder

I bought my 2012 RT-S just a few days before you did. I had an oil leak that the dealer took care of when I picked it up. Started really riding July 9th. Pushing 12K right now and loving it :yes::yes:. The RT has not been back in the shop since the 600 mile check. The dealer did some...

    RTS LTD 2013

Has your husband rode your Spyder and been able to ride without issue? If so, You might just need more seat time. Don't take the dealers word that the born date 100% guaranties you don't have a problem with the ball joints or alignment. My first Spyder was not on the list but was indeed in need...
