• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

LinQ SR 21 Top Bag Or Sport Top Bag

On the Rally model the Max Mount is standard with an inner liner (almost like a high mount fender) that stops most of the splash

    Parking brake lock

I have found that the placement (forward to back) of the air filter cover makes a great deal of difference in ease of fastening the clips. Try looking at the hook piece from above and sliding it back and forth until it settles then hook the clips.

    Ryker 900 Top Cases

I bought one of these adapters for the Max Mount from a vendor in Canada. https://spyderzone.ca/en/product/linq-attachement-plate-for-ryker-top-case/. It is very sturdy. You drill the adapter for the base that comes with any of the aftermarket top cases and bolt it. Then the whole base and...

    New Sway Bar Links

On the rear I went to 3/8"; again to stop bottoming out. I have a top case and Shad side bag and stuff them both full of groceries on my shopping trips. Initially I thought my rough ride was due to the suspension being set too stiff. Now that I have prevented the shocks bottoming out my ride...

    New Sway Bar Links

I did the same on my Rally but found that my front shocks did better at 3.5 setting. At a 2 setting I was getting some bottoming out of the shocks and wheel hop. I weight 175 suited up

    Classic Solo Saddle

I still have the Corbin seat from the wrecked BMW shown in my avitar. The seat was still fine; the rest of the bike not so much. Keep the leather treated with Lexol or something similar and it will outlast the bike.

    Givi top box installation

I was able to salvage and reuse the top case from my wrecked BMW shown in my avatar. I bolted it directly to this mounting plate for the Max Mount that I found on a Canadian site. https://spyderzone.ca/en/product/linq-attachement-plate-for-ryker-top-case/. After the exchange rate the price...

    Contemplating modifying primary clutch

Yeah Doc, Im buying what you are selling. I would be willing to give up some low range power for reduced RPM at cruising speed. I can't use all the power my Rally makes off the line without burning off tire tread. I would also like to get better fuel mileage than my Colorado diesel truck gets...

Tires that will fit the RYKER

The front tire size is the same for the Ace and Rally but the Rally tire has a more aggressive tread pattern; like a knobby.

Ryker rear shock adjustment on 600 ACE

I found the factory front and rear settings on my Rally to be too soft; and I only weigh 175 fully suited. Increasing pre-load on both ends improved my riding experience significantly. I no longer feel like one of my kidneys is going to be forcibly ejected out through my bum.

Tires that will fit the RYKER

For the record, some of the original reviews on the Ryker said the 900 Ace was faster in the corners than the Rally due to better grip in the front. That was attributed to the different tires.

Why JASO MA2 in a Ryker?

It should be with the equivalent displacement of TWO Ace 900's!

Why JASO MA2 in a Ryker?

My first truck was a Ford Courier (Mazda) with an 1800 cc motor. It lacked the performance of your Suzuki

Can this be ordered from someplace????

The bar end mirrors were not working out for me so I changed it out to after market. I am very happy with the results. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07Q7M9R22/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1...

Ryker (not rally) rear tire options

I saw that but also saw that it has a 45K mile warranty when used on a car. I have no idea how that translates to the Ryker. On the other hand it looks like I will only get about 8K out of my stock Kenda so it won't take much improvement to justify the change and this tire is less than half...

What are the setting numbers for Rally front shocks?

Factory setting on the rally shocks was position 3. I was getting a lot of bounce on the front end and thought the 3 setting was too hard. After some experimentation I realized my shocks were bottoming out and that gave me the harsh feeling. I have subsequently settled on 3.5. For reference...

Ryker (not rally) rear tire options

SportsterDoc, this is the tire I am considering for my Rally model. The tread pattern is not quite as aggressive as the Kenda I have worn out but it is a compromise and hopefully will last longer. It might meet your needs in gravel if you can find it in a suitable size...

    Another nice road trip

I was in traffic in my truck one day when a guy in an expensive (convertible) sports car started coming up behind. He was in and out of traffic, switching lanes and trying to make sure everybody saw him. Then he made -- the move. Pulling up to a stop light he pulled in next to a cattle hauler...
