• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    GPS Question ???

    I have a zumo 660 and no CB. The audio comes through the radio of you hook it up using the BRP wiring harness. The directions are not loud enough through the radio. The best way to use it is to pair it with a Bluetooth headset then all is plenty loud.

    Oil Usage

    I have been told and I personally believe ALL Spyders use oil. How much depends on how aggressively you ride. If someone tells you their Spyder does not use oil either they do not ride it or they do not check it. IMHO.

    What Rear? I got 12,000 out of my rear Kenda, I am already running car tire #2 on the rear but only get about 17000 out of mine for a total of ~29,000. Just curious what are you running on the rear that you are seeing little wear at 15,000?

    I run my iPod through the built-in audio system in the trunk. You cannot send audio from iPod thu the zumo to the headset that I am aware of.

    Did you put them On right? The seam should be right past he tip of your finger when you fully grip then grip. Mine are this way and I never really notice the seam.

    Agree 100% Faran! My RT-S is a completely different beast with these three changes. I also have car tires up front and they change things for the better too, although at this point you may not notice the improvement as it is slight.
