• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Found some pretty good deals at www.trailersplus.com. There is one here in Nashville. Will ride the spyder over there (when it gets out of the shop) and test them out.

    Got my SE-5 back!

:O( Mine went back in Friday for throttle surge/shifting/overheating problems. Tech is in touch with BRP trying to solve various 'fault codes'. Then again, the month is not over yet...

I've been looking at the AST2 from Adventure Sports Products. It's expensive as hell, but looks like the best open trailer on the market designed for the Can-am Spyder.

I don't know what was going on, but if I had received that response, there would be no need for another.

    idling on SE5

The one and only time I put it in neutral to cure the forward creeping, it would not go back into first. Had to push it out of traffic, turn it off, wait awhile, and then restart it. Afraid to make that same mistake again.

    idling on SE5

Same problem here... dealer updated software; seems worse now. Tech said BRP told him I should 'blip' the throttle. Only works sometimes, and should not be a requirement. Taking mine back today to see what else they can do (like gear position sensor and oil pressure spring, hopefully).:dontknow:

2009 SE5 Owners still having shifting problems?

Went to dealer today to pick-up stock exhaust that was replaced yesterday by hindle. Explained my shifting/throttle/overheating problems. Will take spyder back tomorrow for whatever comes next.

    BajaRon...BRP update?

Don't be so defensive... I didn't place the blame on any one entity; just stating that nobody should be without their ride for an entire month.

    BajaRon...BRP update?

Any way you look at it, one month is way too long for a repair to take.

2009 SE5 Owners still having shifting problems?

Took my SE in today for shifting/throttle problems. On the way there, after stopping at a light, spyder wouldn't shift out of first gear. Pulled over to the side, turned off engine and walked away with key. Returned to spyder, still wouldn't return to neutral. Finally retrieved the 13mm...

    Exhaust

Just had the hindle installed today. Much improvement over stock. I don't think I would want it any louder.
