• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Cleaning spyder

Here's a little trick I learned from owning airplanes. I had major bug guts on the leading edge of the wings that were a pain to get off. An old timer aircraft mechanic told me to use WD-40. Worked like a charm.

    Too "cool" Harley rider

That's exactly what I WILL do when our F3's come in. Honestly, I've never really liked Harley's as I always liked something a little unique. About 3 years ago we moved to Texas and that prior year we decided to sell all of my toys. Airplane(very sad day, but pocket book was happy) and my...

    Laser alignment warning

Just a suggestion understanding your situation. Since you have a dealer willing to make it right, why not atleast call and discuss it with him to see if anything can be worked out, even if you aren't willing to travel that far. I'm sure there are many things that could come about, even if it's...

2015 - Statistics on Motorcycle Fatalities of Syder Ryders?

Well - It sounds like there is interest in creating a sticky or even a sub-forum. Are there moderators on here that could potentially take ownership of starting something, possibly with some thought from others on the format? I could see it in one of two ways but I'm sure there are others that...

    Laser alignment warning

It's good to see the positive response from the dealer on this. As a business owner myself, it's challenging when you live in the world of social media because anybody can say what they want. In some cases it's not legitimate and we have to explain however there are times my employees make...

2015 - Statistics on Motorcycle Fatalities of Syder Ryders?

This has turned into an interesting thread that has me thinking. Would it be appropriate to start a sticky thread around "safety"? I'm thinking more in the positive sense vs negative ie tips for safe riding, accessories that may enhance your spyder's visibility. Something we can all refer...

    Off Road

Not to hijack this thread but how about a motorcycle on water? This is one of the coolest video's I've seen. Wow! https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=lDi9uFcD7XI Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

2015 - Statistics on Motorcycle Fatalities of Syder Ryders?

This is something I'm pretty passionate about and it really stems from my pilot training both in the military and as a civilian. As others have said, we can fear ourselves to death but with good training, continued training and situational awareness, the risks are minimized a great deal. As a...

    Riding with spouse

I did it a little different for my wife. She didn't want me on cycles as I was looking for a new one after taking a few years off. I was looking for something fun and she actually suggested a Spyder. That was music to my ears and when I started looking I was originally thinking 2 up...

Honda to present Neowing Tilting three wheeler at Tokyo Motor Show

I don't know about anyone else but that looked like fun to me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Leaner! Leaner! Leaner!

It's the Tesla marketing model. You enter the market with a cool sexy model to build your brand as such. Over time you introduce options for the cruisers but maintain the "cool sexy" factor. Starting with a bike that leans in the beginning is the right approach. Competition is a great...

    Has anyone ?????????

Mike - Tx law requires the child to be 5 on any motorcycle. Doubtful they class a sidecar separately. We looked at kid options and gave up ourselves. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    deer hit, just spyder damage

Wow! Glad you are ok first of all. Very sorry for what happened to you in the past but it's great to see that the Spyder was able to get you back on the road. This brings up a good question for those in high deer population areas and tools to help avoid them. I live in Tx now but grew up in...

    What's for sale here?

Google that email. 2 pages of that AD in various cities. I really hate seeing these scams. Let's hope nobody goes to far. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Bum Dealer?

New as in 2016's which I assume since your saying F3-T? He's probably being honest. However, there is freight & prep which is around $900. You could negotiate that off and then an agreed upon discount on the accessories which most would do. I'm sure if you were talking about one of the 15...

    2016 F3's improvements

I gotta tell ya. I researched the heck out of these and the one consistent thing I found everywhere, from long time owners to the first time die hard motorcycle guys doing their demo rides all over youtube, EVERYONE said they are a heck of a lot of fun. I am super excited and it's pretty cool...

    2016 F3's improvements

I'm completely new to the Spyder's and just ordered 2 16 F3 S's(Triple Black) For me it really was about the concept of riding in the bike vs on the bike and from there the options that best fit our needs. Granted, I haven't ridden on other models to fully understand the "in vs on" but when I...

    2016 F3's improvements

I've read a number of threads on the vibration issue. We have 2 16 F3 S's on order. Is there anything we can have done at the dealer/ahead of time to have an adjustment made? If we don't have the time, is purchasing a tensioner something most dealers would install?
