• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Spyders in GA

I have put a little over 500 miles on my new 2014 RTL driving around in the Marietta - Waleska - Blue Ridge area. I have not seen a single Spyder. I have ridden 2 wheelers for years in that area. I did notice that the other trikes, Gold Wing and HD appear to be more common. Do the Spyders...

    BRP Sat Radio ?

Sat Radio For many years we have leased cars that came with at least one year of free sat radio. We used to just get the service after the trial period but have, in the last couple of years, decided that sat radio was wildly overpriced. Now, we have one car with sat radio activated and that is...

    No Help In Kalispell

Respectfully, The refusal to install aftermarket parts is a matter of policy as administered by an independent franchisee. It is not a failure to provide adequate customer service and IMO, should not be held against a dealer who announces the policy upfront. Sadly, the merit and safety of some...

Which type of helmet do your prefer for "cruising"?

Helmet Type I use a modular helmet, the Schuberth C3 Pro. I do a lot of photography and the modular makes it easier. I think that the Schuberth is an exceptionally safe helmet.

    Spare Parts for Long Trip

Thanks to all who answered my question...I looked at all the advice and now have got tools, air compressor, tire kit, zip ties, SpyderCodes, service manual on iPad, ready to head out of the neighborhood, starting to like the RTL, could be the end of 2 wheelers...

    Spare Parts for Long Trip

I would like to have a kit of spare parts for my 2014 RTL for long trips. Does anyone have a list of the most likely needed spare parts that are easily carried and fit in one of the side panniers? As usual your informed advice is much appreciated.

    2013 RT Fire, 26 July 2014

"Full Coverage" When you use the term "full coverage", do you mean "Total Loss Replacement" or "ACV". If your dec page says ACV it means that the insurer is obligated to pay you only what the actual cash value of the vehicle is. ACV is the less expensive coverage because it leaves quite a bit...

BRP Spyder investigation started. What will happen?

BRP Spyder Investigation I think that the reason that the investigation has proceeded slowly is the absence of injuries and/or deaths associated with these fires. It is fair to say, IMO, that most Sypder operators are equipped with a better developed sense of situational awareness than most...

    Another Trailer Question

I'm seriously considering the purchase of an RT-622. The decision would be very easy if the following seems reasonable to experienced RT-622 users. We are starting to move away from large SUVs. We have a small crossover 5 door that is, from time to time, too small to carry all our stuff. The...

    Trailering the Spyder

I've searched the forums and need some help buying a trailer. I found a Triton 1064 aluminum trailer. I would accommodate my 2014 RTL but I am curious about Triton's reputation for quality. it comes with chocks. Your comments will be appreciated. Thank you.

    BRP Tires

Beeg Leaner On a K1000RS or an S1000R with Pirelli Rossos that would be quite acceptable. I would rather have a soft sticky tire that worked well on a wet surface, than a long lived tire that did not.

    Zumo 590

Thanks to you and Bob for your responses. FYI, my BMW Nav V fits in the mount on the 2014 RT and it is a 5" screen. My motivation is that the 590 accepts the Garmin TPMS and I would like to get metal valve stems installed and use that system.

    Dealer Rip-off?

Honest Dealer My dealer, Mountain Motorsports of Marietta, explained the various usual charges for planned maintenance and made it clear that the Spyder was not inexpensive to maintain. They offered a substantial discount on scheduled service that one can prepay. It is easy to see that the...
