• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    New Highway material idea...

The way I see it... Why not do this tech at all our crosswalks, Rail Road Crossings, Pedestrian/Bicycle crossings and things like that. The options are endless with this type of tech. Like mentioned about... Charging of vehicles... Think of all the city buses. The would no longer need overhead...

    My Wish List for RT

Good ideas... I still think front pegs being adjustable or the seat itself would be a good idea. Heck, even a telescoping handlebar would be cool... :ohyea:

    Motorcycle safety tips.

Very good point BR1... I still ryde my Spyder to the left like I did two wheels. Two reasons... Budget cuts all across America have not allowed towns to stay on top of the roads like they had in the past. Many have the hump in the middle. This can cause folks the sensation that the Spyder is...

    Motorcycle safety tips.

I did not take any pics as I was following another members lead (Here). Keep in mind this is not a truckers air horn, but it is dual and electric air. It is louder using the relay and power from the battery directly. To give you an idea... Without the batery power and using the factory wires, it...

    Motorcycle safety tips.

Bugs me... To go along with this. I have a few things I am having a hard time overcoming... Four second rule (Or what ever you want to call it). I am always having folks take the space n front of me away. I consistently go backwards when trying to be safe. 99% of every single driver I have...

    Motorcycle safety tips.

This is a good idea... With the proper set of expectations I think it could work (Like the off topic category has rules/expectations). No matter how much of an expert we think we are, it only takes one. I guarantee every single one of us can very quickly think of a time or two where if we...

Two Brothers Juice Box Pro tweaks...

Well I would feel better if this was the case. Our Tech did tell us to ryde and we will look at it when the Valve Check happens at the 6000 miles service...

    Fatal Spyder crash in Oregon

R.I.P. It is now updated... Oregon State Police (OSP) troopers are continuing the investigation into Wednesday afternoon's fatal motorcycle-involved traffic crash that resulted in the death of a 51-year old Rogue River-area woman on Highway 140E near Bly east of Klamath Falls. The woman's...

might be getting spyder back sooner than later.

Customs is the luck of the draw for sure. Not every box is chosen. It if is a slow day the % is higher that a box will get searched (They only have so many folks doing it), than high volume days are. I used to ship a lot of products to Canada, and had to learn the process to reduce the chances...

I am thinking of trying an old school 3M spray on sound dampener. Similar to an undercoat (The real ones not used car crap)...

Two Brothers Juice Box Pro tweaks...

I will check that out. I did run the original, then re-downloaded the maps (Only three available0-1-2) and saw no change... I thought it should run richer as well. That is why I am reaching out. I would hate to hurt anything when I could have made a change...

Two Brothers Juice Box Pro tweaks...

This issue is with our 2010 RT-S... I am learning as I go here, and have no advice to offer, but am looking for some help... My dealer is telling me that the last two times he has hooked up our Spyder to the BUD's system, they are being told that the rear cylinder is running lean. Well as I...

    Sound deadening...

Small issue. If we put to much of this under the Body Panels, it can reduce and or restrict airflow that is designed/engineered into and around the heat generating components. While solving one issue (The heat we feel) it creates another. Just person info here... I had a 1974 Jeep that I put a...

    Star Brite

Well we have been using it for over ten tanks of fuel now... Ran one tank without it and all the evil demons came back (Feels like it is missing every once in a while, reduced performance, etc). At the next fuel up (Always use the same two stations, just depends what side of town I am on at the...

    Spyder sales???

Locally they seem strong... Cannot answer that (BRP can)... From what I understand BRP asks the dealers to make their order for the year in January, and to tell BRP when they want those to come in (What months, say 5 in April and 12 in May). Then once those orders are in BRP tries to get...

    They're BACK! (Iridium Plugs)

Wow $53... I am the type of fella that likes to keep my vehicles running the way they are supposed to at all times. Kind of OCD about it honestly. So I have developed the pattern of replacing the Plug Wires since I am already replacing the Plugs, at the same time. Kind of like the "O" rings...
