• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    998cc VS 1330cc engines

Ain't that the truth! Being used to the RS I thought I was dragging an anchor on the RT. Just a different ride, that's all.[emoji106] Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

Selling my 2011 RTS any advice Craigs List

Craigslist is sketchy for sure. If I'm buying used I'd rather buy from a seasoned forum member. While not perfect, it does allow you the ability to do a bit of homework and search the forum reading all the sellers previous posts. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

Selling my 2011 RTS any advice Craigs List

IMHO it's a cash only kinda thing. If you have the money to buy, go to the bank before you come to me. Banks give out cash all day long and @10k isn't really that much. Public meeting places, etc.👍 Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

    998cc VS 1330cc engines

Silly old people, and their archaic mindset... If that were true Harleys and Goldwings would be the fastest bikes on the street with their 1700-1800 motors vs those silly small 1300-1400 sport bike motors. Great marketing Kool aid though! Hey, it sold you on "trading up". Oil changes are less...

HowTo: Rear fender tail mod on Spyder RS-S

Nice work! Welcome to the club! 😁 We bobbed the bottom a bit more under the plate. The stock zx14 fender with the reflector is silly...[emoji57] Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

rear fender removal on Syder rs-s

If your going to keep the lower belt guard look for the OEM cover piece from an RT. It covers the hole between the guard and swingarm that was once occupied by the fender mount. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

    998cc VS 1330cc engines

Gimme a break! It's not like an on/off switch. The motors just operate more efficiently in different rev zones, nothing more. You sound like the Harley guys I know arguing with the gsxr guys I know....Or diesel vs gas...They are just different mills, nothing more. With the bloated weight of...

$150 Android based Waterproof Motorcycle GPS. Fact or Fantasy

I've been using my Android phone for quite awhile now and no longer use a stand alone GPS. I don't know how many satalites it connects to, but Google maps works fantastic. As for water, a zip lock bag works great in a pinch and if it's that bad, Im pulling over for cover. Guess I just don't...

    DOES ANYONE KNOW THIS ????

Mike, use the back or long side of the calipers. The point that slides out. (Bottom of the "T") It's designed to measure depth. Slide it down the edge of the hose adjacent to the clamp. [emoji106] Or, if there is enough room, slide the calipers down on the radiator neck at the end of the...

High RPM or 2 cylinder vs 3 cylinder

Let her sing to you and enjoy the beautiful music. The v990 is easily one of the best sounding bike motors of all time. If you want to learn more about it check out the Aprilia AF1 forums. It's essentially the same motor that is used in the RSV, Tuono, etc. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

Has anyone used this type of towing for the Spyder and if so, what is your opinion?

But yet they are out of stock??...Pick one up and give it a shot. Let everyone know how it works out for you. [emoji106] Personally, I've never liked any trailer rig that drags the wheels, unless it's a hooptie or an emergency. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

Front Plastic Shield Under GS / RS Remove or Not

    Surging

Try this first....take off the right side panel and pinch off the line to the purge valve, then go for a ride. See if your slight surge goes away. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

    Another RPM question

It always cracks me up when someone posts this pic. Looks like it's done by a 5yr old with a box of markers, and while I can't comment on the 1330, that is nowhere near the power curve of the v990 motor....Lol Great marketing poster though! Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

High RPM or 2 cylinder vs 3 cylinder

Acceptable RPM levels is a personal preference. Lower isn't always better....Just different. 4-5k is not screaming...Not even close. Remember that the v990 twin is the F1 of the Spyder lineup and designed to run vs the 1330 that is more in tune with a minivan....😂😂 Sent from my Nexus 6 using...
