• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What's going on with this Super-hot exhaust???

Cleveland's a "fer spell" from Dallas, or I would offer to let you borrow my OEM cat (if one from a 2019 RTL would fit your bike) to rule that out. I do recall a few years back stopping a truck in front of me who's entire catalytic converter was glowing red to yellow-white hot, and throwing...

    RT Vent Kit Installation Help

That's fair, it has been hovering around 100 F lately. But I'm tired of our SPF chapstick completely melting in there, and the part of the seat in front of my add-on seat cushion being almost "burn your hands" hot. Even my ignition key gets pretty damned hot to the touch. I first though it...

1330cc How fast can I safely run my F3 for how long?

I just rode that for a bit on the way back from Corpus to Dallas. I sustained 95+ for a decent while before I decided it was too windy, and I was wasting my toll money, so I switched to the access road. Nothing about the bike made me think it couldn't go all day long like that. Speaking of...

    RT Vent Kit Installation Help

My research shows that they had eliminated the acoustic panels by my 2019, so that's not in play. I also don't recall seeing anything like that. I've got some sticky heat insulation on order and am going to attempt to redo the tupperware backing foam with it where I can. I will also see if I...

    RT Vent Kit Installation Help

I was hoping that having the deflector "open" would allow the little vents behind them to get more air forced inside them, this cool things off under the tupperware. It seems like opinions are varied on the success of this. I was hoping to hear from some first-hand accounts of people that...

Anyone had any success contacting Pedalbox lately?

Sport+ is for highway passing only, or just flat out racing. (Hypothetically of course!) It'll jerk your head back every time.

How easy is it to replace Mode and Parking buttons? The print on 2019 RTL has gone!

I don't see any way to do this in such a manner that would stay affixed to the front of the button, even an adhesive vinyl I would think will heat up and slide off soon. Some sort of UV protective clear coat might work. I'm really not worried about me, as I know where the buttons are, but more...

    RT Vent Kit Installation Help

Thanks Peter. The "IF" part was really what I need to know, so your elaboration helps. But now I'm leaning more towards the adjustable deflector idea, if I can get confirmation it solves the problem.

    RT Vent Kit Installation Help

Now I'm seeing some threads where the adjustable wind deflectors, adjusted so the air is directed into the existing small vents takes care of it. It does seem that the fixed stock air deflectors keep air out of those vents, so it makes some sense. For people that have them on the 2019ish RTL...

I think that's actually my question, restated.

Anyone had any success contacting Pedalbox lately?

Well, for me, Sport +2 gives me what I want, so I decided to not pursue the matter, but the OCD in me wants to make sure I'm getting everything I bought, lol. Note: I let my GF be up front a few times now to get her comfortable with being the driver, and turn off the pedalbox. It doesn't take...

    RT Vent Kit Installation Help

These are going up. I cannot source these for less than $220 (ebay), and found some on Amazon for ($270). Before I continue down this path, does anyone know for sure they will fit and work on a 2019 RTL?

Anyone had any success contacting Pedalbox lately?

I used their online contact us form about a month ago with a very specific question trying to determine if mine was faulty or not, and got a reply about 2 days later to contact my dealer. I replied to that email that saying that I already had, and never received another reply back. Their...

Trying to decide if I want to start doing my own oil changes - what should I budget?

So walk me through the “with a shorty”. So choke up on it and crank it pretty hard, or just try to get it fairly snug? I understand the principle of leverage with longer wrench, but I’m also fairly certain I could over torque these with anything that provided more leverage than a regular...

Trying to decide if I want to start doing my own oil changes - what should I budget?

I think it feels like that in the sun! But seriously, where did you get 180° F?

Trying to decide if I want to start doing my own oil changes - what should I budget?

... and to have it less viscosity and flow better, I know; but I'm wondering how you get it there. I've now found some other threads in the meantime that talk about taking a 10-15 minute ride, or letting it idle until the fans cycle twice, etc.

Advice on mobile phone placement, what would work?

If you want to go for the RAM ball mount, I have a RAM X-grip ball mount for sale, minus the connector arm. (Just the xgrip with the ball on the back.) $10 + shipping for any SpyderLover.

Trying to decide if I want to start doing my own oil changes - what should I budget?

I see that in these videos and the service manual, the engine should be "warm" when changing the oil. What do y'all do exactly do get it somewhere between "cold" and "too hot"? I know the temp gauge on the dash is intake air temp, not oil temp gauge. So what exactly is your process to make it...

Trying to decide if I want to start doing my own oil changes - what should I budget?

Awesome post, Gwolf, thanks! I had it up once for the cat delete install on some backwards ramps with no issues, then jacked the back up and built a crossed wood stack to support the rear wheel, then lowered on the wheel onto it. All was very stable. You can find pics in my "how to" cat...
