• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    I can't help myself

I couldn't agree more, especially the part about BRP giving the machine several nanny settings. I looked at getting an RSS for myself to go with my wife's STS and decided not to after spending more time on it and continually bumping up against the nanny. It simply takes the challenge and fun out...

    ST "tank bag" solution?

How do you reach the parking brake switch? And does the strap wrap around the handlebars ok with that shield in there?

Fender eliminator kit for 08 spyder

I just installed one of these on my wife's new ST. I love it, I just cant stand that stock fender, and it eliminates a whole bunch of unsprung weight. The manual with the kit made reference to the 2008 models so I think it will fit. $299 and well worth it!

    Spanner wrench for Fox shocks?

+1 I'd like to get one too, quite surprised (and disappointed) that there wasn't one in the tool kit.

Excessive Heat has been a problem

I just did the first oil change on my wife's new '14 ST-S and left the two bottom panels off. Like you, I can't see what purpose they add other than a place to trap gravel, something else to make oil changes take even longer, and keep more heat in. I'm not aware of anyone who sells a pipe to...

    ST "tank bag" solution?

Darn, that Nelson-Rigg bag looks perfect! I checked the installation instructions and indeed the forward strap can't be used on an ST. Grr, any others found a good solution?

    ST "tank bag" solution?

That could work, where did you get it? Googling didn't reveal much.

    ST "tank bag" solution?

Of course the frunk is a wonderful thing that keeps all your ryding goodies fairly accessible, but we are looking for some sort of small "tank bag" that fits on the black plastic panel between the front of the seat and the rear of the switch console just behind the handlebars. This would be to...

Help me decide - RS, RS-S or ST

Oh, BTW, when I did the short (7 mile) test ride on the '14 RS-S I snuck off onto some closed pavement to see if I could tell a difference in the VSS. Compared to the wife's ST it didn't seem much different at all, though of course I wouldn't call my brief exposure a definitive test. I'd say it...

Help me decide - RS, RS-S or ST

BonesDT, I'm just ahead of you in the transition process from two wheels, we just bought a 2014 ST-S SE5 for my wife which I've now had a chance to ride a bit, and I'm considering swapping my R1200RT for an RS-S for me as well. I also took a quick spin on an 2014 RS-S as I was most curious about...

    Heated grips on 2013/2014 RS-S

BRP does not have a heated grip option listed in their accessories catalog for the 2013/2014 RS model. Does anyone know if the kit for the ST (p/n #219400356) will fit? I suspect they don't list it because the RS doesn't have that area below the handlebar stem for switches like the RT and ST...

    Add Cruise Control

Since the computer likely already has the cruise functionality as part of the software, and the bike's wiring harness is likely the same, I'm inclined to think there might be a chance that there's a chance that you could buy a new right hand switch module and connect it up. Only a dive into the...

    Any reviews on 2014 RS?

Actually not, the VSS has supposedly been "recalibrated". I'd like to hear from anyone who's had a chance to compare, hopefully the new VSS calibration let's the rider get a bit more freedom to experiment with the adhesion limits.

    2013 handlebar risers

I've been looking for that to and haven't seen anything. There is a thread where someone installed ST bars on an RSS successfully, thread here. Personally, if I end up with an RSS, that is what I plan to do after riding it around for a few hundred miles to make sure the stock bars don't work for...

No Planned HID Kit for the 2013+ RS... Disappointing.

I know a factory kit is clean and will be reliable, but I just installed an aftermarket HID kit in my new Camry and am quite happy with it. Once you drive with HIDs you won't want anything else. Not sure if I'll install them in my wife's new ST which should be here shortly, but probably.

Can't wait to hear some real world feedback on it!

My 2014 red RS S is finaly in YAY!!

I am most curious about the "recalibrated VSS on the RS-S for 2014". Please let us know if you can get the back end out a bit and so on. Said differently, it is supposed to have a less restrictive nanny, and if so I'm considering one to go along with my wife's new ST-S.

    Grip heaters

Has anyone found a place to download the .pdf version of the 2014 accessories catalog? On the BRP web site it appears web only with only the major categories such as exhaust and windshields. It's probably someplace obvious but I can't seem to find it. I have the 2013 catalog, the p/n is probably...

    Grip heaters

I just got a call from our dealer and our '14 ST-S has shipped from BRP, I expect to pick it up mid-February. I'll definitely want to get the grip heaters on there ASAP, can anyone confirm the part number and price for the BRP kit? Good to hear they are an easy install!
