• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Yes I totally agree, originally I wanted to leave them silver and liked it at first, but the more I have looked at it the more I convince myself I need to do it this weekend.

    BRP calling Spyders "motorcycles?"

Thanks Bob If all the planets align, around about August next year i hope to do an Eagle Riders Tour, from Seattle up into Canada, then down through to Denver. And keep the Rental Spyder for a few more days and head to LA via the Grand Canyon. This was supposed to happen this year, but...

    BRP calling Spyders "motorcycles?"

I have always called mine, my Spyder, and in New Zealand you only need a car licence to ride one and they are registered as a Car, so annual rego cost is less than 50% of the cost of registering a Motorcycle. I have car and Motorcycle Licence, but my partner who rides only has a Car Licence, I...

    HMF for the f3

Looks Great But from what I can see it mounts the same way that the Akrapovic mounts, which is different to the way the stock muffler mounts. So it looks like we still need some of BRP's mounting kit to fit it. I may be wrong, and sort of hope I am, as I like HMF pipes

    Adaptiv TPX Radar Detector

If you remove the throttle assembly there is a spacer there that can be removed and it exposes enough handlebar to put a bar clamp on. I did this with mine, a bit fiddly but even someone with my limited skills is able to do it lol.I got all the bits I needed from Radar Direct, my Adaptive is...

    F3 in an Autocross

Maybe try this? Looks like fun, if you have an SM6, which it looks like you do, if you check out the little pressure switch that the clutch engages when you pull the clutch in, if you can work out how to keep that pressure switch compressed nanny thinks that the clutch is engaged and doesnt...

    Blue Ridge Install Question???

Sorry, I can help with the 5mm screws, mine came out ok, your 6 rubber washers are 2 for each side between the screen and the mounting plate, and 2 for the swivel mechanism between the screen and mounting point. I had trouble getting the washers to stay put, so put a very very light smear of...

    Windshield Installation

The hardest part is keeping the rubber washers between the screen and mounting points lol. I used a very small smear of silicone to hold them in place, but you may have a better idea.

    Attitude Handlebar?

They are a perfect fit for me, I am around Six foot tall and found with the stock bar I was almost leaning back a little and when riding at a reasonable speed I felt like I had to hold on tight to stop falling back due to catching so much wind. The Attitude bar has me leaning slightly forward...

    ST sport fender

I put one on my partners RSS and the fender works fine, but the cover on the belt guard side is a little flimsy and moves a lot when riding, I am hoping all of the movement doesnt cause it to fail eventually.

    Essential F3 Modifications and Farkles

I have the F3 SM6 and absolutely love it. But like all of my other Spyders, my only must have when purchasing is a backrest, I dont always carry a passenger, but I like to have it in the event of someone wanting to come for a ride. When it comes to other farkles etc... my theory is, ride it and...
