• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What Did You Do To Your RYKER Today?

Spygoat, obviously those of us in cold weather have to put the battery on a tender over the winter storage months. Given that you've gone to the quick-connect, I presume you/your wife also put your Ryker on the tender whenever you park it. Do you have previous experience with parasitic...

New owner in Arizona with some questions

Give this man a gold star. <puts on Engineer hat> One of the major benefits of a CVT (continuously variable transmission) is that it is eaiser to calibrate to keep the engine in the ideal range of its Brake Specific Fuel Consumption (BSFC) curve...

Newbie with questions on ordering a 2022 model

A bit more specific information from another source; https://motoweekly.com/2022-can-am-ryker-rally-first-look-review/ "Although Can-Am says it wasn’t hugely impacted by COVID-related supply chain issues, there were still some shocks felt in the delivery system and it expects all MY2022...

Newbie with questions on ordering a 2022 model

This morning I went on Can-Am's webstie and wound up on a sidebar chat. Asked the agent about when 2022 models were shipping and got this response; "2022 models will ship early spring next year" So, it's official then. Gonna be waiting a few months.... :( Later, EV

Newbie with questions on ordering a 2022 model

Hey all, in doing some research over the past couple days, I have answered one of my own questions... I'm in the car biz, so I am always curious about manufacturing plants/methods/etc. Since we're diving into this world of Can-Am and Rykers, I thought it might be cool to see where they are...

Newbie with questions on ordering a 2022 model

Spygoat, Fully agreed. I took the regular MSF class years ago when I got my cycle endorsement. Learned a ton from both the in-class portion as well as the range (took my test in the rain!). Biggest takeaway was ATGATT. We are both going to take the Can-Am 3 wheel class when slots open up in...

Newbie with questions on ordering a 2022 model

Lots of good info. I will definitely check out iMotorsports. If you follow that link, it talks about pre-ordering a 2022 and "being ready for next riding season." That sure makes it sound like an order would take months to fulfill, not weeks. Thanks, EV
