• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Help 2016 RTS vs F3 Limited Can't Decide

except they and don't break down as often :roflblack: For comfort there is no comparison, go with the RT. If you add everything onto an F3 i think its as much or more than an RT. As for the side loading bags you get used to them. I use them all the time.

    Benefits of a Spyder

Good Post The biggest difference between a bike and a spyder and also sums up most of Jens comments is what my brother and i call "Zero Sphincter Factor" On the spyder ;) Just not worried about the things Jen mentioned like road debris etc. I love my yamaha but the Spyder is so much safer...

    Hmmmmm...

Yep that is mullholland, i was actually was there saturday. i was going to post a vid of the spyder going up it when i cut it down a bit. Had a harley and gold wing in front of me and knew they would not be able to keep up with the spyder so i slowed and let them get a minute or two ahead and...

    debating a F3 limited or F3 T for 2 persons

i think if your wife sits on an RT you can forget the F3. Tiny back seat, More money to add back rest, not as many features as RT. Im pretty sure the F3 is pretty close to or more in price as RT when you goto the touring model isnt it?

    1330 Triple Frunk decals

clear on white Received my set really quick, thanks for your help Pete! I think the cut out was a good choice for my white RT

    Affordability

i paid under 19 for my new 15 RT if thats the type you are interested in. The extra many thousands of S or limited get you mostly a few flares. Mechanically and feature wise they are almost identical except passenger grips and push button suspension or GPS on the limited. F3 is another great...

What is the Average Age of Spyder Owners? - 2nd Edition

so far 20,30s and 40s put together are not half of 50's and even less vs. 60s. Although i dont agree with the assessment its an older persons bike at least i know where it comes from. i think it should be for anyone that wants to enjoy the open road but wants the additional safety of a 3 wheeler...

Making an RT from an RS!

but no radio lol. Nice job but I wonder if he spent as much for all the cases as selling and buying an RT :)

Question to the do it yourself guys

mine jacks up the spyder ok, its one of those red ones, i think its 1500 lbs but would have to check. It has this little bar that is supposed to keep it up if the hydraulics fail or the switch gets flipped accidentally but im not sure i trust it.

Spyder Hater at the bike show

what really gets me about spyder haters is i have never met one that has ever ridden one. Im not thaaaat old, 45 on wed. and i still have a 2 wheel sport bike but i bought a spyder because its safer to take my wife and daughter on rides and still tons of fun. She has probably been riding with me...

    Thank you SpyderLovers

:agree: Repeat posts are unavoidable and i think if there were not repeat posts that there would be very little posts on here. I too have picked up a great deal from this site and plan to continue that :)

L.A. to Vegas - is there a fun way to go?

there are no other GOOD ways to get to vegas. I always go down pearblossom and stop at charlie browns for one of the 100 shake flavors and maybe some jerky and water to take with me. Then on into Victorville via the 38 or 138 i forget off the top of my head. Then its onto the 15 for the boring...

    Rear tire worn

Hard to tell at that angle but looks like there is definitely some life left in it. and to quote Baja Ron of course the kenda are more expensive. IMO this is why Can Am recommends you only run Kenda tires, in exchange Kenda gives BRP a great discount on the tires they put on new bikes and then...

RT Stock seat backrest - Adjustable or not?

Im with Mike, get the Utopia or even the show chrome one. http://www.utpr.com/spyderrt.html http://www.amazon.com/Show-Chrome-Accessories-41-168-Backrest/dp/B00GP1CLIM/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1458665951&sr=8-5&keywords=spyder+rt+backrest

Where do you store your Spyder?

Storing outside is the kiss of death for bikes. When i bought my first couple used bike i immediately disregarded anything that was stored outside and it was obvious which ones were. I would get something on site, no matter how close it is you will ride it more if its onsite. If your taking a 5...

    TIRES ????????

i dont think many people move away from the kenda for a few pennies but to get better tires. Personally i was going to look at all options on my RS but since i traded that for a new RT i am not going to have to worry about that for a while :) There are many many people that have switched to non...

    RS-S seat question

i did not like the corbin i had on my RS, too hard and way to slippery. The best after market seat maker in my opinion is mustang. I LOVED the mustang seat i had on my last cruiser. I have not tried one for the spyder they just started making them but i am sure they use the same extra soft and...

    Which model should I consider?

The ST although it looks close in the diagram is not as comfortable as the RT. Keep in mind those lean angles vary a little depending on your height. The F3 is cool and looks cool, allows you to move pegs and bars which is great for comfort but has no extras at all unless you get up to the top...
