• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Horn Don't Beep! Fuse is good, any other suggestions?

So..... I gave up and took the byke to the shop. They found a crimped up wire and fixed it. My horn now sounds like a asthmatic goose. I'm shopping for a new one now. Thank you folks for all your help.

    Passenger fell asleep!

I used to ride with a woman on a Goldwing Trike conversion. Sometimes her daughter would ride pillion. There was one time when daughter started to nod off and tilt a bit in the seat. I offered some duct tape to solve the problem. Dear daughter never slept again..

Horn Don't Beep! Fuse is good, any other suggestions?

I did not use a relay because the instructions said it was a direct replacement. The manual I consulted is the owner manual. There is no sound when I hit the horn button. Just the emptiness in my head...

Horn Don't Beep! Fuse is good, any other suggestions?

I'm biting the bullet and getting a multimeter. Fyi - I've had the Wolo in for a couple of years now. It's probably the switch, but testing the circuit should show that, yes? Thanks for all help!

I was afraid the answer would involve a multimeter....

Horn Don't Beep! Fuse is good, any other suggestions?

So, I noticed my horn wasn't working. Looked in my manual, saw what fuse might be the problem. Bought assorted new fuses. Pulled the fuse. It looked okay, but I replaced it any way. (Truth be told I dropped it under the Spyder.). Horn still don't beep beep. Looked at the connections...

    What GPS are you using?

Me too. Might be an earlier model (395?). Does a great job!

2015 Can Am Spyder F3 - Needs a new engine!

Per Scot "I am truly heartbroken. Yes, over a bike...! haha" Completely understandable. I wish I had the exact info you need, but I don't. When I had a Honda, I did a lot of my own work. The Spyder is a real pain to work on. There are an incredible number of odd things that can go...

Choosing between Spyder or Tri-Glide? Drawbacks for either?

I've never ridden or driven a TriGlide. One of my friends has one, and noticed my Spyder was much smoother than the TriGlide when she had to drive it once. I have noticed the Harley has much less storage than the RT.

What did you do to your Spyder today?

Didn't DO much of anything to the Spyder today. Did ryde to lunch and back. I ordered a half cover for it yesterday. The cover I have is not for a Limited, so doesn't reach the back trunk. If a nice warm day were to happen, I'd wash it some.

How about heated gear - what's your favorite? Any other suggestions?

So, my truck is going in the shop for repairs right after Thanksgiving. I can rent a car or ryde my Spyder. It'll be coldish. Anybody have favorite heated gear they want to suggest? Thanks in advance!

Has anyone given their Spyder a "Name"???

I named my 2016 Spyder RT-L FANG. Because I bought used and the previous owner had installed 2 fang looking decals on the front.

The frequent lament of "they said my Spyder was not a real motorcycle!"

I haven't got many "that's not a motorcycle" comments. What I do get is people asking about my Spyder when I stop for gas on longer trips. Have to add an extra 5 or 10 minutes for the curious, or the people who just really like my tryke!

Now No Reverse! Just got my Spyder back after recall OK yesterday - Ideas?

So, I pulled RFB F5 25A. The fuse itself did not look blown. The contacts had a bit of corrosion (?) on them, so I replaced anyway. RFB J2 40 A looked different to me, so I stepped back and consulted you tube. I don't have a replacement for it anyhow. Tomorrow I'll pull and examine it. Got...

Now No Reverse! Just got my Spyder back after recall OK yesterday - Ideas?

So, I tried to look under the Spyder to check the actuator. Not sure what it looks like, but I didn't see any evidence of damage. Had to cut it short, because every few minutes a car would stop and people would offer assistance to get me off the ground. Or to call an ambulance. The brake...

Now No Reverse! Just got my Spyder back after recall OK yesterday - Ideas?

I'm fixing to go roll on the ground under my Spyder. Anything else I should look for while I'm crouched? If they damaged the actuator Thursday, wouldn't that have caused problems earlier?

Now No Reverse! Just got my Spyder back after recall OK yesterday - Ideas?

So, finally got my Spyder back from shop for the recall. Yesterday, I went into reverse easy as you please. Today.... Not so much. In fact, not at all. And the horn won't honk either. Maybe a fuse blew? Where would I start? What fuse connects both? (If any.)

Shop Can't Do Recall, Sprocket is 'Stuck!' Any suggestions??

I suspect the repair tech who handles the hard stuff was off work a few days. My Spyder will be ready Thursday. (Bensenoid - thanks. I needed something else to fret about.)
