• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Brake light problem solved

Yeah, it was a little bit of a surprise to say the least. Next time I will be more prepared and either do it myself or find another dealer to put it on for me.

    Brake light problem solved

2013 STL brake light problem solved. Brake light would stay on after stopping, would have to lift up on the pedal to get it to go out. This is a known problem, my dealer "Water World Boat & Powersport" in Medford Oregon replaced under warrantee the brake lever and the problem was solved, took...

    Shipping Nightmare

I had a similar experience, trying to get my 2013 ST L from Utah to So. Oregon. After the same type of run around that you got, I said F*** it and went and got it myself. I will avoid the trucking industry if at all possible in the future.

The cursed 'stuck on' brake light problem.

I have had this problem too (2013 STL). By stepping on the brake pedal a couple of times it usually goes out. I will let the dealer know when I take it in next time.

    Check transmission

I had similar issue. Shifting both up and down, shifting down would lurch forward and shifting up it would stall. I didn't get any codes or check messages though. The problem was low oil, although it read just slightly low. Hope this helps, if it's the same, it's an easy fix!

    Anyone else had this problem?

Update: This was a problem of low oil as was suggested. The level was registering on the dip stick, but was low enough to cause this weird problem. Thanks to all the replied. Sorry it took so long to update this thread, just figured out how to find my own threads :opps:

    Anyone else had this problem?

A couple of times now, starting out, cold engine ect... my transmission (semi-auto) on my 2013 st limited has acted up. Up shifting, it revs lower before shifting up and resuming normal acceleration. When down shifting, it does the opposite, it increases the revs before a normal down shift...

    can we all say ouch

I watch these videos about once a month on utube to remind me of how invisible we are. Granted the vast majority of these accidents are in foreign countries where driving is crazy to begin with and most of them are riders that are doing incredibly stupid things, but things do happen!

Belt Alignment was up against flange after dealer service

I've got about 4500 miles on a 2013 st. I looked at the belt tension in the manual to check my belt and I saw exactly what you saw. The belt is right up against the flange, but the manual says it should have a small gap. I need to take it in for regular service in the next week or so, I'll see...
