• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Winter/cold weather riding

I ride year around here in So. Oregon. It has been cool (28-35) but with a good jacket gloves, full face modular helmet and heated grips, I'm warm enough. We don't salt roads here, so that is not a problem. If it looks like ice, I don't ride but other than that I feel pretty secure. My buddies...

    Trailer troubles

I got lucky when I got my Spyder from Utah to Oregon. Rented a Uhaul 6x12? enclosed. It had a ramp, it worked, but had to work a little to get it out when I got it home. I was lucky because they let me rent it there and drop off in Oregon. I think if I had run into trouble when I got there, I...

    Quicker Cornering Techniques?

When ever I find myself in a situation where I need to take a corner quicker (2013 ST L), I shift my weight towards the corner and get my head looking as far as I can over the front rim/tire. Practice a little, you will find that you'll go around a corner like on rails.

    Accident

Wow, what a tragedy! What really surprised me about the article though, was the ANTI cycle comments. I had no idea people were so against riders and so un-compassionate towards the victims of this act!

How many miles on rear tire

I got 9500 on my 2013 stL just changed it out last week. Like you the middle was shot. Need to monitor your ware and adjust pressure to get more out of it. Dealer told me that the suggested pressure was incorrect, told me to run 26-28 lbs depending on weight.

    Brake light problem solved

I called the service dept., the manager said he didn't know, just that Can Am sends a new updated piece to fix the problem. He said he would have to lay them side by side to see the difference. I saw the piece before they installed it, had a gold tint to it, had lots of notches etc... I suppose...

    Brake light problem solved

It was a mechanical problem, they replaced the actual arm that the brake pedal is attached to. So beware, if you can't use your cruise control, or you get a VSS Fault, your brake maybe on.
