• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    This is one of our ways also :-)) The south west is littered with our old t-shirts, LOL Plus, like other answers here, pack minimalistically, zip offs are great, and we still mail back items (dirty clothes and gifts etc) on the return legs of long trips of 3 weeks or more.

    I'm in the same boat as Chupaca. If I hadn't sold my FJR though, I'd still be riding it, although admittedly, not as many miles per day I ride the Spyder. Be more a "go for a coffee" an hour away bike.

    Ideally, I like them both even. But after a day in the garage the pressures differ by up to 1.5 lbs anyway, due to the proximity of the bike being nearer one hot wall. A losing battle ;) Therefore, buying an equalizer is probably a waste of money. I'll buy Frappuccinos for 2 for at least a week...

    Calsci Windshield Users ?

    It does, and does it very well for us both. I've used CalSci on 2 other bikes (FJR1300 and Suzuki Bandit 1200S) and they both performed the same. This has become our "all year" windshield -- winter, summer, etc. Other rider's results do vary. Never had one crack on me at the bolt holes though.

    I have the CalSci tinted shorty, but on my RT Top to bottom measures 18 1/2" Width at top is 18" Its widest measurement is 25", which is 13" from the top. Hope this helps.
