• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Stupid Turn Signals

If you have a tight enough turn. There are some 4 lane intersections where I am turning on the outermost lane and it doesn't turn off until the 20 seconds has passed--or 3 minutes for me since I keep :cus:in' with mine trying to turn it off :D Oh well, still love my spyder sensitive signal and...

    Stupid Turn Signals

That is brilliant!! Making the timeout adjustable via the menu. I wouldn't think that would be overly hard to do. Besides lane changes, my problem is generally that I take some corners very slow and not tight as we're learning and I don't want to freak out my wife. On a busy"ish" road...

    A jingle in the front?

That's interesting and pretty darn funny. My wife and I went out last night with me in the back position and I could not hear it. So, it's totally up in the front. It'd be pretty funny if it's the zipper in the frunk rattling around :p

    Stupid Turn Signals

I think it's my gloved hand. I've read previous threads about the pressing it for one second. I think I'm letting it off at an angle. The real factory fix could be insanely easy. Just let me push it down. Just a wee bit :dontknow:

    A jingle in the front?

Well the back of the belt looks good. I don't see it rubbing against the sprocket. There's enough clearance. So, I'll chalk it up something else and not worry. It'll be in for the 600 soon enough.

    Posi-Tap Size for Gauges

I had planned on doing an inline 3AMP fuse for both application. This is really only for my GPS. I don't plan on putting anything like heated gloves or a vest through it. In my case, would you think I am okay?

    Stupid Turn Signals

I don't get why BRP didn't make the switch like a car's stalk so the switch clicks either left or right and stays there unit you either turn or your just click it back to center. Heck, I'd kill to have that dumb little nub be able to be pushed down to cancel the turn signal (like setting the...

    Posi-Tap Size for Gauges

The farkle bug crawled up somewhere last night I think. :yikes: I've already disconnected my analog gauges but planning on putting in a 12-volt power on the left along with a volt gauge on the right. I think I'm good to go about what to do but not sure what gauge posi-taps I should get for the...

    A jingle in the front?

Haha! Yah I don't expect a Town Car quiet environment but the worrier in me immediately thinks, "A bolt is loose...my wheel is going to come off at 75mph." It's probably nothing but being our first, we don't want to ryde it and cause more damage if something is really wrong. I don't want to be...

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll check them tonight.

    A jingle in the front?

Now that it isn't 110 with 85% humidity in St. Louis, we've been able to get the RTS out and about. I've notice a sort of tinny rattle or jingle (sort of like keys hitting each other) coming from what sounds like the front. It always when we start out riding after it's been parked for 24hours or...

    Ram Balls on the handlebars

Those look great. I was going to get that RAM strap mount thing but it looks godawful. How are these installed? Is it a bear?

Someone can correct me if I am wrong but I am 99.99% sure it's already on there as part of the Limited.

    RT Vibration continues

I haven't notice any vibration (especially as described in this thread) when I ryde or am a passenger on our 2012 RT-S. We've only ever shifted at 4,800-5k rpm. I've been in 5th at 68ish mpg up to 75 and haven't felt it feel any different than at 25mph in 1st or 3rd at 40mph. If anyone with this...

1st ride on the interstate yesterday

I'm glad you said that. We had planned on getting more expensive helmets later on but didn't want to drop another $1k or $1400 total on two high end helmets right off that bat--especially when we knew we wouldn't be doing long trips. I'll have to revisit helmets in a few months before our fall...

1st ride on the interstate yesterday

I've been told, and read in helmet reviews, that not all helmets are the same when it comes to air moving around them at highway speeds. My wife and I have some basic entry level HJC CL-16 full face helmets. They aren't the greatest but they work pretty well at 70mph with our wind and face...
