• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Non laser alignment

Whoa...This Sucks! OK, I called one of the local dealers to price the Outlaw Laser Alignment and they quoted me $185 to do it!!! Just sounds "Extreme"ly high compared to what I've been reading and seeing on SL's. Should I do it? Next, the cost to install the Baja Ron sway bar would be $195...

    helmet longevity

Who to believe.... I don't know who to believe...the test results performed and sanctioned by the manufacturer who sells helmets for profit telling you to replace it every 5 years. Or someone that was in a bad accident that had a 10 year old helmet that still saved their life. If it comes...

    Highway. Pegs

Go to TricLEDusa.com and under products, miscellaneous products, you'll find the "Full size brake pedal for all spyders"... It's $50 but worth it.

I was describing my experience above, with the HBC200. It's a great device and technical support is awesome, should you need some help from the geeks in California.

    New Helmet!

I would buy it based on the girl's sexy voice alone... I'm a sucker for the British accent, especially when it comes to marketing/selling things. It's like the mythological Siren calling for me, lol

    Smart Phone Holders

That's an X-grip farm you have there! I'm surprised you velcro your garage door remote, and don't provide an X-grip for that too, lol lol.

fuel mileage - performance -- reg. fuel vs premium fuel

Agreed! Why cheap out on the thing that matters the most. I don't think the $200 per year of savings is worth it enough for the piece of mind that you've done the right thing. I've only been forced to use a lesser octane gas when traveling but it was ethanol free 89 octane and I was fine...

Helmet Won't Fit In Side Compartment

Wow, that's funny... We have exactly the same helmets and same sizes around. Just love my RF-1100's; but since Shoei discontinued them, do you think the 1200's will fit the same way? Or is it off to the icon Airmada 3xl... Which by the way is several hundred cheaper!

I'm finally done with my Spyder

My wife has the Goldwing 1800 Motor Trike, inherited from her late father...that thing is up to 50k with no issues! Unbelievable, but is from 2009 since she's had it and only thing done was a couple of oil changes. Honda's are just that good, period!

    Windshield?

Taller may not be better! I don't know why, but the BRP windshields just don't work well. I ended up buying a cal-sci stock height, extra wide and it works great! It has a perfectly positioned vent/opening in the lower portion of the shield to reduce the negative pressure created by the air...

    2014 RTS windshield

Question for Don... Don, Since the sport windshield is 3" shorter than stock, would you get the buffeting if lowered all the way down... Basically riding with the wind hitting you square in the face? I'm 6'-0" and either have to raise the stock shield all the way up or all the way down to...

    IN NEED OF YOUR PRAYERS!!!!!!!!

I too suffered a bad accident four years ago, that left my arm/shoulder broken, bruised, and nerve damage to the point of unusable. Doctor said it stemmed from the trauma to the upper back, and injury to the shoulder. She told me it would take 18 months to recover from this nerve damage, but...

    Helmet communications

My wife and I use the UClear system...the speaker and wireless mic fits my Shoei RF-1100 ear indentation quite nicely and was a breeze to install. It too has a long battery life, works great at distances, and the speakers are loud enough for me. I have received phone calls while riding and the...

Shawn Smoak Part 2 1330 Engine Oil Change

I agree totally... These guys must be held accountable for sales, farkling, and the Spyder addiction! In all seriousness, I wish he was my technician at the place I bring it to... That guy is top notch, and people drive a few hundred miles to get their service done by him. Keep up the good...

Congrats! She actually looks red in the photo, and not orange like my eyes see when I'm in the show room... Now, you need matching jacket and helmet to show that thing off appropriately, lol!

    Lets talk about rider fatigue.

A lot of folks on here will claim it is the seat or a pad, that will extend the day in the saddle. I think your feeling what I feel, and it's your body not agreeing with your latest antics. Meaning your body may not be used to the position, posture, confinement, etc. I think you have to...
