• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    frunk weather stripping?

Mine has no C shape. It is just an oval piece of seal that was glued to the rim of the frunk. Nothing to squeeze. It just perches on top; held in place by the smallest dab of adhesive.

    rear trunk latch adjustment

The rear trunk on my 2010 Spyder RT only latches once in every 4-5 tries. Hard, gentle... doesn't matter. My manual is up in my shop but is there a way to adjust the latch so it latches easily and reliably every time?

Garmin Zumo 590 and TPMS on a new 2015 RT Limited SE6

One thing to note... most car dealerships will insist you fill your tires with nitrogen rather than O2 because when the tires heat, the O2 heats and condensation occurs inside the tire which corrodes the sensors. For me, a tire pressure gauge makes more sense than looking for nitrogen but maybe...

    frunk weather stripping?

What did BRP having in mind when they installed the weather stripping on a Spyder frunk? I reglued it once and it is falling off again so I ordered a different style replacment from Spyderpops. Has anyone else tried the Spyderpops trunk seal? It HAS to be a better product than the OEM seal...

    Bought a new Helmet today

At one time Cycle Gear was a dealer for many brands of helmets. I am a HJC fan as I know they fit me and quality seems good. The local Cycle Gear has gone pretty much across the board to the "Bilt" helmet line which is likely made overseas somewhere and I would like to see what the helmet...

RT Elka Rear Shock for 2011

I have Elka shocks with heavier than standard springs. According to the guru at Elka the front shocks mainly affect the front and the loaded weight will not determine the preload or optimal spring rates you should use. When I bought the shocks used, I suspect the original owner weighed about...

    2010 Base model RT

I currently own a 2010 Spyder RT (base model). It has no radio/audio and the rear suspension air pressure must be done manually using the schrader valve under the seat. It does have cruise control, heated driver (only) grips. I haven't experienced ANY mechanical issues that have been...

    Test ride a F3 what a blast!!!

I was at Coyote Powersports in Boerne yesterday after having a little work done on my 2010 Spyder RT. They absolutely LOVE you taking test rides on the F3 demo they have AND the 2015 RTs! I, of course, refused and took a test ride on a used 2012 RT-S they have in stock; mainly because it has a...

Considering purchasing Spyder ST with no experience_need encouragement

Do they let you drive a 3 wheel vehicle in California without an endorsement on your license? That may be why the dealer didn't want you to drive one (if you have no endorsement and need one). I suspect test drives involve a lot of liability.

Was going to purchase a ST Limited

Jack, Why was the OP a jerk? He was clearly influenced by the cloud of negative stuff about Spyders... ST in particular that seem to swirl. I think he has seen that while the amount of product complaints seem overwhelming, they are in fact not really the dominant feeling about the product. How...

    BRP/Can-Am dealer inside knowledge

I have owned many Kawasakis and am a member of several Kawasaki groups. I know for a fact that a Kawasaki dealer often gets insider info at a yearly dealer meeting where Kawasaki USA gives them the dope on new models and changes in corporate direction. I have heard several folks claim their...

Can-am RT Spyder AM/FM Integrated Audio System 219400464

I am kind of curious about Can-Am / BRP selling accessories. Their website doesn' work well with PaleMoon (my internet browser; a take off on Firefox). When I use Internet Explorer, it isn't much better. Is there a place to look at all accessories; even for a 2010?

Can-am RT Spyder AM/FM Integrated Audio System 219400464

I have a 2010 Spyder RT with NO radio. This Can-Am kit is supposed to be plug and play and integrate into the current controls/screen. Does anyone know where I could see or download a copy of the instructions? I don't think you get passenger speakers but what would it take to get the...

were to buy a no chip key

A Can-Am Spyder dealer likely won't have a non-chipped blank anyway. Most hardware stores use blanks from a company called ILCO. Do a search for ILCO here on this site but one guy mention blank X270. I also think you will need to file down sides of the key (not where it was cut) to get it in...
