• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Didn't Quite Get My TricLED Wide VU Mirror Perfect

Don't ya just hate it when a DIY install doesn't go as planned????? I got my right RT Wide VU mirror a smidgen off a perfect alignment to the OEM mirror. My question is: Can I use a hairdryer to "heat" the mirror's large adhesive area, and move the mirror into perfect alignment??? I don't want...

Anyone own both a Spyder and a Polaris Slingshot?

In addition to what has already been said about the SS vs. Spyder, the only things I/we can add is that the current SS is not as refined as the current(2014-2017) Spyders. The engine noise intrudes iexcessively nto the passenger compartment to the point where either earplugs or a helmet is/are a...

TricLeD Wide Vu mirrors are simply AMAZING and now available for F3's

Need Advice I installed my RT Wide-Vu Mirrors today. Being left handed, I missed the exact alignment of the WVM on my right mirror by 1/8". Is there a way to "adjust" the WVM into perfect positioning, or should I just leave it alone???? I'm remembering the old saying "perfection is the enemy of...

    THANK YOU F4 CUSTOMS!!!

I've done business with Don & Alicia since my GL1800 Hannigan Trike days('09-15). Don't know why it took me 2+ years(4/'15- 7/'17) to seek his advice on the wind buffeting my wife was experiencing as a passenger on my '15 RTLimited. Purchased a clear +3 Wide and Light Tint/No Scratch Baker Air...

    Enclosed trailer advice

Mike T here, I don't think the standard Wide Body will hold an RT AND a Ultra Classic. My RT Limited fits with some room to walk around and tie the trike down. They just started marketing an enclosed 2-axle Slingshot Hauler. I don't know the dimensions. Just call Ironhorse and talk with them...

Has anyone removed their stick-on blind spot mirrors from your OEM without damaging them to go to these larger view mirrors????? Should I "leave well enough alone" and use the $$$ on another farkle????? Thanks Mike

    Burning Rubber Smell

How's the belt alignment on your rear sprocket???????? If there is NO gap(1-2 credit cards) the belt could be rubbing the flange giving you the burning smell. It also makes the inner rear wheel dirty. Mike

    Need Advice!

For me the hardest aspect of riding a Spyder was getting used to how "quick" the steering is compared to one wheel in the front. I found my self over steering into the curves and finding myself making an adjustment midway thru the curve. Another technique that I had to learn is to squeeze my...

    ANOTHER REAR TIRE BITES IT

Glad I could help. If you want to compare the OEM Kenda, it is a 76 Load Rated tire. The OM states that the inflation pressure is 28 PSI +/- 2 PSI. Here is the data in that PSI range: 26 PSI-683 lbs 27 PSI-697 lbs 28 PSI-705 lbs 29 PSI-739 lbs 30 PSI-772 lbs This data shows why when using a car...

    ANOTHER REAR TIRE BITES IT

The information you are looking for is available by load rating for a given tire size; not by tire brand. For example: 225/50R15 PSI/Load Index 91SL 22 PSI-904 lbs 23 PSI-948 lbs 24 PSI-975...

    Indians new reverse trike!

:agree: with you Tommy G. The Scout reverse trike was just a design exercise. BRP has had 10 years to refine the Spyder. I'm amazed at the evolutionary path to today's F3. Can't wait to see the jump to the next RT. I think the more probable source for another manufactured reverse/forward wheel...

    Federal Formoza AZ01 165/55r15 @ Amazon

The Federal EVO 595s seem very popular too. Besides the AZ01 being an asymetrical tire, which is OK on the fronts, has anyone run both and can offer a comparrison??????? Thanks, Mike

    ANOTHER REAR TIRE BITES IT

I'm sure that spyder riders with many more miles under their belt will chime in. My first question is did you measure your tread depth away from the bars?????? Those look like the anti-hydroplane blocks(that's what I've been told). I'll bet you've got 5-6/32nds tread left on the tire. According...

Can you answer me this please ??

:agree:. I made this mistake because this is my first Spyder. The wear bars are located by looking for the triangles on the side of the rear tire that "point" to the wear bars that should be watched. Based on info here, the center of the rear tire wears faster than the outsides. Mike
