• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Garmin power supply

No, the Spyder does not use the head lamp wires ... Not sure how the ST dash is set up but on the RT, when you pull the dash panel to unplug the gauges you will find a 3 prong plug. I attached spade plugs to the Garman wire and just plugged into that plug. You will find a ground and 12v power...

    Garmin power supply

Go to Amazon and search for a power cable for your model of Garmin. It will have leads from the 12v source through a transformer and then to a plug for the GPS. On my RT, I removed the gauges and use the light power wire for the GPS. My Vulcan has an AUX supply line in the headlight can...

How many miles do you ride?

35,000 miles - two years next month. No problems, 1 new rear tire at 20K; front tires at 28K. Dealer maintained under a service contract. I have been taking it a little easy ... 3500 miles on the Vulcan in the last month and only a couple of hundred on the Spyder ...

    Motorcycle Hand Signals

Kind of sad that so many folks want to make a joke of a serious original post. Group riding is enhanced when everyone is conscious and considerate of each other. Common hand signals are very helpful when people that do not normally ride together are on a group ride. They also help everyone...

    Be Careful Out There !!!!!!

This morning on I 95 southbound at GA exit 3. Light rain and wet roads. I was passed by a white RT - single rider with a harley rain suit. All was well until he pulled into my lane and slowed from 75 to 55 with no signal of any kind. I slowed thinking he might have riled nanny but the road...

So what would make you trade up to a 2014?

I thought this thread started asking about trucks ...:yikes: My 2011 Ram is just broken in with 46K but to be honest, I don't seem to drive it too much since I got my Spyder and my Vulcan. I kept my last truck for 12 years with 214K miles so I doubt I'll be getting a new one any time soon...

    Cruise Control 2013

That should work ... Be sure your foot is not brushing the brake pedal. Verify that the display (lower left corner near the gear number) changes from OFF to ON when you slide the button to the right. It should be green and say SET when the cruise is engaged. I don't think there is a lower...

    Mini Trailer Owners

I have one like that that I pull with my 2011 RT. If you get the BRP hitch, it comes with the tail light adapter and you will have a plug on the underside of your left fender. What I did was get this - P/N 710002442 Pole harness. Then I removed the square connector on the harness and...

    Really BRP????? (venting)

Seems like your dealer is not very good at service. I had the Gear Position Sensor go out on mine and they had the part the next day - from Atlanta. Took a couple of hours to fix and it was all under warranty. I was, of course, armed with information I got from Spyderlovers and actually told...
