• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Whistler BC Canada

Depending on which direction you're coming from or leaving to, consider the Duffy Lake Road that comes into Whistler from the north. I've done it several times including the Spyder and would recommend it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

5658 km (3516 mi) covered in a week to Durango and back! Great ride on a great machine! The RT never missed a beat, and never fails to attract attention, with people asking about it everywhere along the way. Safe travels everyone! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My Saskatoon to Durango ryde has begun!

Some great riding today on the Telluride loop via Dolores and then south on the Million Dollar Highway. Wow! I've been through the Rockies in Alberta and through the mountains to Vancouver, but this is a much much nicer ride! Good roads and fabulous scenery. Today was my last day before...

My Saskatoon to Durango ryde has begun!

Day 4. Saw more Spyders on the road today than in the past 4 years! Even the parking lot in the small motel I'm in has more than I've ever seen in total! Durango has noticed! Am having people roll down their window in traffic to ask about it and the ticket lady at the gate to Mesa Verde held up...

My Saskatoon to Durango ryde has begun!

Day 3, 600 miles and made it to Durango from Rawlins WY via Woody Creek (on the road to Aspen) and then over the Independence Pass before looping back south and west to Durango. Great riding in very good conditions. Works out to 1480 miles for the 3 days from home, and the RT never missed a...

Good one spyderrock! I thought we had wind back home on the prairies, but Casper to Rawlins today was pretty fierce! But, there's no bugs on my windshield ;-) Safe travels. I should be in Durango tomorrow. Rod. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My Saskatoon to Durango ryde has begun!

Had another kind of wind today -- fierce crosswinds gusting to 51mph according to the 'net. But no rain, so not a bad day. Made it to Rawlins WY by 3:30 so good a place as any to stop. Lots of cruisers out today, but not one Spyder. But I get to Durango tomorrow so there might be some to see...

My Saskatoon to Durango ryde has begun!

Got away just before 5AM in wonderful clear weather (it's been monsooning here for weeks...). A little fresh at +48F (I added the plus because we do see -48 here, but I'm not usually on the Spyder). Got across the border north of Scobey MT by 10AM with a nice tail wind and zero traffic all the...

Things to check before your trip to Durango

Great reminder, thanks! With a lot of my riding being out of cell phone range, I carry a SPOT gps messenger that lets me signal for help and keeps track of my route so family & friends can go online to know where I am. See you in Durango! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That looks like a fantastic trip!! I've only a week, so I'm leaving on the 16th from Saskatoon and making the quickest time I can (through MT and WY) to and from Durango, leaving me 3.5 days for riding there before I head home on Friday. See you there. Safe travels! Sent from my iPad using...
