• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Front Tires: Federals vs. Vredestein

You probably need to mention the pressure you run them at. It has a lot to do with the traction. Even though it is subjective.

2014 RTL Throttle handle not fully returning

Seems to me there was something tricky about the spring too. take the foam off and see if it returns. If not then the spring is not in rite.

2014 RTL Throttle handle not fully returning

I had a similar problem and it was caused by the extra presser from the foam squeezing the grip. Also the spring is tricky to get back in rite if you had it out.

    Liquid Performance Ethanol Equilizer

I believe that CanAm's have a knock sensor in them for timing. So 99 octane means you get the highest timing out of your engine. Which you mite also be getting with 87 octane. Who know's but the seat of your pants or maybe a Dyno. I've heard that engine rebuilders say premium has a build up...

    Front tire size

No gotcha, Spyder's just have a very sensitive steering. Every little thing seems to effect them.

    Front tire size

Blueknight911: The height of the tire sidewall does have a mineute affect on the caster angle of the steering. It's slight but it is a little.

    Start up after storage

I guess someone is going to have to try it and see if wide open throttle will stop it from starting. That's how you started a flood (gas) car. So it would seem to carry over to modern cars.

    Balancing tires

I cannot count the number of times we have removed tires and the dyna beads were clumped and CAUSING the imbalance and shaking. I believe the clumpimg comes from using a compressor that has water in it. I know that's what caused mine.

Quote "Using a non-ferrous metal keeps rust out of the picture. This may be a reason for the bolts used by BRP." Remember this is a "snow sled" with wheels. Got to watch out for rust in all that wet out doors snow.
