• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Riding On Wet Surfaces

Something else to consider... Yes, I've experienced hydroplaning....simple solution...slooooow down. But I have also discovered that road surfaces can contribute to hydroplaning....for example WYOMING roads are realllllly slick....many times I'm on WY rainy roads and slowed down...cross onto...

    Solo trip advice

Why I switched from AAA Yep AAA has a 200 mile limit and only 2 a year. Good Sam (yes must be the RV plan to get the motorcycle covered) has unlimited miles and not to nearest dealer (if you show good reasoning that the closest dealer is not acceptable). In 130k I have had to use AAA once...

    Keurig, anyone else addicted ??

No Keurig for me.... Unless I want to start creating my own science projects. Yep Keurigs are better than petri dishes for growing "nasty" stuff....nope all that rinsing, flushing (if you bother to do it)...will not eliminate. So there you go. my humble opinion!!

    Increasing daytime visibility

TricLed's When I added a Spyder to my world. My LEO son said please, please get more lites to be seen/safe. So being a good mama who always listens to her kids (NOT) I did listen this time. There are lots of choices out there. But after 130k+ miles of Spydering I endorse only 1 and that...

    Possible new owner

Welcome, Wecome & Welcome I can only answer from my perception and experience. But remember on a forum such as this for some reason those with bad experiences seem to post 100 times more than the "happy camper" owner. 1. Realiable...I've ridden over 120k with nothing that couldn't be...

    front tires

OEM's I agree with Chupuca....I have no issue with the OEM's....at 16k on current and lots of rubber left. I run the OEM on rear until I replace than I have gone with the Khumo Esta...but when I get to the rear I always check here and make decision then. But for front's...when these need...
