• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    OIL, OIL, OIL...

The clutch went on my SE5 at 7000 miles. Thanks to BRP, it was covered under warrenty and the work was done at PRO Shops in Henderson, NV. 3 days and back home. As for the reason the clutch was slipping, wrong oil. I started with BRP brand blended oil. I changed to Mobil 1. When I pulled this...

    DPS and winter ryding

Like most of you, I had no issues with steering until the morning I was riding into Vegas for DPS change out. It was in the low 20s until I got near the top of the mountain I have to go over to get there. Twice, the steering felt like I was in a rut. As soon as I went down the other side, all...

She makes me carry all the stuff so she wont over load hers. I always thought garages were for cars. Now I know they are...

    Rydin in Vegas.

The snow is all but melted. It was in the high 60's Saturday so wife and I decided to go for a ryde. Washed mine, looked at hers and said maybe later. We left and took a tour of Red Rock Canyon. What a day for a ryde. Light jacket and t-shirt. It is so nice to live where we can ryde almost all...

    DPS

Just so you know. We have a 2009 RS and a 2010 RS. Both had the new DPS installed for recall. The dealer that did the work was PRO SHOPS in Henderson, Nevada. I waited in the front while John, the mechanic took them into the back to do the work. I was there for 1 and 1/2 hours. Excellent...

    Alarms

Never liked to double anything. In Nevada, we are legally able to carry non concealed firearms. But if they don't fall permanently and can get up, chances are they will sue you. Therefore, 44 or 50 cal. is the only way to go. Not losing my Spyder to some moron.

    Alarms

Alarms!! On a motorcycle, makes no matter. It can be stolen in a matter of seconds and no one will even notice when it is shoved into a van. On a Spyder, well, It can hardly be shoved into a van so someone should notice when a person is trying to steal it. My alarm is a 44 mag when I'm on or...

    Suddenly - A Coolant Leak

Here is my 2 cents. A while back, I serviced my wife's Spyder and added some antifreeze to the bottle. I either spilled some or it over flowed and ran down into the frame area. As we rode, dust, dirt, something got in the area and made the fluid drip out under the frame. I took it to the dealer...
