• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Long time rider looking for information

There are seveal mods for the bars. 1" to 3" riser blocks that raise the stock bars, risers that involve cutting the stock bars and a helibar for the spyder. My wife has the helibar on hers and, at 6'-2" the bars are too close for me. Search the forum and you will find a ton of info on these...

next mod is speakers on rs not rt

Bear with me while I try and explain what I finally ended up doing to my wife's RS through much trial, error and blown speakers. 1st - This set up is where I started. The Shark Audio 100 watt system in black. 100 watt is all you need, but you can get 250 watt. She likes this one because it...

    Bought the HMF exhaust

I may be confused. I bought my PCV w/Autotune at Indy Bikes, not the O2 modifier. I believe the vendor that sold the O2 modifier is no longer in business.

I'm so happy to say hot foot problem solved!

On the RS they are kind of in line with your footpegs under each side of the bike. 2 plastic panels, one on each side. They close up the underside of the bike. The left side has to be removed to change the oil, so I left it off after the 1st oil change. I removed the other side to give the...

    Gas canister up-date

It may evaporate, but I would be hesitiant to have anything under the tupperware holding gas. Out of curiosity, if you have the purge valve disconnected, why connect the evap cannister?

    Guess what I'm doing...

At 10k miles and the original gaskets, there is no doubt they are shot. Probably by 3-4000 miles, if history is any indication.

    Guess what I'm doing...

I haven't read the write up, but a few things come to mind from my experience. 1. Another pair of hands is very helpful. 2. Slide the gaskets on the header pipe and then the exhaust pipes on the gaskets, working both sides together. 3. Have a "persuader" handy for tapping/beating as needed...

Need Help After Installing Power Commander V

Finally! Everything is connected and operating right. Once I connected the stock O2 sensor, the check engine light went away. I have only been for one ride, so the autotune has made a few changes, but I will get it dialed in soon. I am starting with the stock map, so it may take a few trim...

Need Help After Installing Power Commander V

Well that's confusing. The auto tune directions say: "many aftermarket exhausts come with an O2 sensor. If your system comes with an M18x1.5mm thread then you can simply use this location for the auto tune sensor". The instructions don't say to leave or remove the stock O2 sensor. On the...

Need Help After Installing Power Commander V

One other thing puzzled me. The O2 modifier had 2 connections on it. One, of course, plugged into my connection, the other I have no idea. I assume it is pigtailed for a different connection on a different bike? Ah, I think it is the connection for the stock O2 sensor if not using an autotune.

Need Help After Installing Power Commander V

I installed the PCV and O2 modifier, ran the bike and did not have a check engine message. After installing the auto tune, the message came up. All the connections look good and the bike runs great, so I guess I will take it to my dealer and let him figure it out.

    AAA Anyone?

We wouldn't think of not having it. We have towed the Soyder twice (during the same breakdown) and my motorcycle once with no issues. AAA has been very responsive, helpful and professional each time and they had everything needed to tie down the bikes. When my bike needed to be towed, the...

    Juicebox/O2 modifier/O2 Sensor Question

Bit the bullet today and bought the Power Commander 5 w/Auto tune. Figured by the time I buy the JB pro and the OEM O2 sensor, might as well spend some more and go all the way. Just FYI, the regular Juice Box has been discontinued.
