• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

When did you order your Spyder?

During the later part of Bike week. No telling when the dealer actually sent in my deposit but I guess it was early enough cause I've been ridin since 10/24!

    Belt Adjustment Warning

Did they warrenty it? If they did then others take notice so BRP doesn't claim owners responsibilty on wear items if yours breaks.

Since my M109 loses a lot of HP from the crank to the rear wheel through the driveshaft, I was curious to find out the HP loss with the belt drive.

    1St Service required by BRP

Well it has started. I brought it to another Can Am dealer 40 miles away because of the service price diff $162-$475. I also had them charge me the hour and install the handlebar riser. My wife and I were there at 9am and left at 2:30. She took the Spyder and I rode my Rune . When I got home she...

    Hand Brake

Since in an emergancy situation on my bike I also use the footbrake, it won't be a problem. If you ride the Spyder once and a while you might tend to go for the hand but our brain is a great thing, it learns and adapts.

Wife is getting cold feet, need help from the ladies here

My wife briefly rode a Honda Rebel for a few months back in the spring, so Saturday I took her out for a nice long ride so she would get used to the Spyder and be able to ride to the Bike Night here in Ft Myers. The only mistake I mad was to tell her that all eyes would be on her as she drove...

Looking to get some feedback and prices on the 625 mile service. Getting prices from $162.00 to over $500.00 and confusion on whether the valves do indeed need to be check as required in owners manual. I'm at 550 now and plan on getting it done this weekend.

There still is some heat experienced on the right side mostly off the engine. Socks and long pants are a must. I feel it a lot more than my other cycles. :redfaced:

    Rode Spyder to Key West

Married, 2 Daughters 28 & 32, 4 Grandchildren 3,4,5, and 13. By the way, I just called my dealer and asked about the 625 mile service and they quoted me $475.00 if they have to adjust the valves. My first service on my Vette was only $75.00. People are going to be pist if they have to spend...

    Rode Spyder to Key West

I am at 510 miles now and will hit the first service mark this week. I got the riser, but I have decided to spend the hour labor and have the dealer do it, that way if something gets scratched or damaged, it's their responsibility. Besides, I can't find by puller. This has been a blast so far...
