• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    In N.Y., the dealer placed it on the left front shock. Two wheeled vehicles it is placed in the same location.

    That appears to be a BUDS connection for diagnostics. If you look at the installation instructions from BRP (on their web site)for the auxiliary lighting it will highlight where this unit plugs in. The lights go on as soon as the Ryker is awaken and before the bike is started. -- jim

    Yes, the Rykers have self cancelling turn signals. They are set to turn off after 30 seconds of movement per the manual. -- jim

    BRP does not list a lock as an accessory. The manual states the parking lever lock is not available on North America models. The lock actually has a pin that extends into the parking lever to secure it (I had a chance to look closely at the bike before I bought it yesterday). A regional sales...

    Rally Edition passenger seat question

    Per the manual, there is a magnetic switch in the left foot peg that activates when the peg is lowered. This tells the VSS system to change settings due to the extra weight and altered center of gravity. You are correct that sport mode and rally mode are not available with a passenger on board...
