• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    It's a good thing he ducked his head...I'd hate to see what would have happened if the bird got him right in the face shield. In the Philippines in 1978 a bat hit me in the chest when I was going about 40mph on my Yamaha RD400. The bat didn't make it and I had a huge bruise on my chest.

    I was looking at getting the air scoops on my Spyder, but never thought about my Air Wings. I'll have to think about that one.

    I'm just glad I can ride year round, here. Actually, this is the best time of year to ride in central Florida...temps are down in the 70s and 80s. Back in St Louis I used to ride whenever it was over 45 degrees, but I don't think I could handle that these days.

    In all my years of riding (off and on since 1968) I've only been pulled over once. And that was on a blue bike. Never on my Spyder.

    Experience will make things easier. I can ride rings around most any other trike out there...and often do. The Spyder is FAR more stable than any other "regular" trike. Experience, experience, experience.

    The biker passed on a double yellow line...that's a traffic offense. The car driver deliberately ran him off the road. That's a criminal offense. The biker was an idiot. The car driver was much, much more. It looks like the car driver is being charged with aggravated assault...as he should be.

    Seriously? An "experienced" rider crashed your Spyder because there was no hand brake? Didn't he use the foot brake on his two wheeler? That just seems weird to me. Every motorcycle I've ever owned had a foot brake and I used them.

    Yup...time to find a new dealer if you can. That's simply absurd. Even the dealer I "fired" a few years ago wasn't THAT bad.
