• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Lower block off plate?

I've done a lot of reading on the forums and come up with a lot of conflicting opinions about the lower block off plate from Spyderpops. Can anyone give me input on their experiences using only the lower block off plate on the 2013 RT SE5? I live in a desert area where temperatures in the summer...

    Lower block off plate?

Hi folks! Quick question: If I only use the lower block off plate from Spyderpops and do not cut hole in the pan underneath, will leaving the upper vent open be enough to let the hot air escape? Hot air rises and the top hole is much bigger, after all. Can anyone post their experience with...

    Radiator air deflectors?

The only good idea I have right now is to order the Spyderpops block off plates, put holes in them and then put two extended pipes leading away from the foot area. :dontknow:

    Radiator air deflectors?

Hmm... will using just the bottom block off plate on a 2013 still allow enough heat to escape from the top vent while keeping the foot cool?

    Cutting stock antenna down?

Question: Can I cut the stock antenna down to a size I prefer, and just move the plastic nub down with it? I understand this will reduce my radio reception a bit but I never listen to radio anyway. What problems, if any, would this cause?

    Backrests - Which one?

Hmm... Has anyone here had a chance at a show or something to sit on a seat with the Utopia one and a seat with the Show Chrome Smart Mount that could share the differences of each?

    Backrests - Which one?

Very interesting. Seems like a mixed bag of preferences. That Smart Mount one looks smaller than the Utopia one. Do you think that would keep you from leaning on the lady? I don't want to do that to my wife either!

    Radiator air deflectors?

I've seen a lot of stuff mentioned here, but the most popular fixes for hot foot seem to be the Spyderpops block off plates or the Baker Air Wings. Does anyone know if there are any other after market air deflectors, scoops, or air directors that can be attached to route the air further out and...

    BRP Adjustable Side Wind Deflectors?

Are these worth the price? They look like they would work, but aren't cheap. Can I get a few of your opinions on them?

    Backrests - Which one?

Hi folks! Can anyone share experiences with or recommend a good backrest? I've seen a couple so far. The Utopia Backrest and Smart Mount Backrest both look pretty good and have comparable pricing. Doesit help the ride? Or is it a waste of money? Smart Mount Utopia Thanks!

    trailer mode

Well I rode it all day today in trailer mode, and all I can say is WOW. Why isn't this the default setting? It wasn't really the up-shifting points that made the difference, it was the down-shifting that was such a big change. Normally the bike waits until you're going 15 mph or less to...

It's $5000. I got one too. Apparently people who recently bought a Spyder were sent these.

So this is basically a good way for new spider riders to get used to the high RPM shifting points?

Now THAT is stylish. I found them on a their website here, but I'm confused - do they send you the whole mirror or just the parts to put onto your exsisting mirror?

Recommendations for someone to do mods on my Spyder in my area?

Hello! I live in the southern California area about and hour east of Palm Springs in Yucca Valley. I'm looking for someone or someplace reputable (mechanic, handyman, ect.) that's reasonably near me who you folks could recommend that I could hire to do several mods on my new Spyder. A search of...
